I'm going for a 26 minute run soon. 5 min warm up, 26 min running at 10kph and 5 min cool down. another 4 runs after that and i'll be at my 5k run goal, i can get to a full 30 min 5k now i think, but this steady progression program has taken me from 2k with a 190 heart rate, to over 4k with a 165 heart rate, so i'll stick to it.
Because really, if you can't run 5k in 30min, you can't actually call yourself fit can you?

I'm fucking fat (120 kg, 264 lb). Five months ago, I decided go trekking as a start for losing weight. The result? left ankle sprain.
A couple of months after that, I decided to try again. Not trekking, just regular street walking. The result? same ankle sprain.
I've tried again not so long ago. The result was a painful sesamoiditis and an extra ankle twist.
So after years of a sedentary lifestyle, i'm paying the price. Since my fucking feet can't even resist my proper weight, I've decided to do stationary bicycle...

Hey lads, I need some advice from some bros.

In my opinion, yes. I would get distracted easily lifting at home.
I'm able to focus and push myself allot harder at the gym.
Also less risk of painful death, if you fail a set.

It's got a good variety of equipment, and most locations offer amenities such as pools, steam rooms, etc. A wide variety of inhabitants, but it gets goddamn awful when the NYR crowd rolls in.
They're decent for the price if you're going to use everything they have, but they're a nightmare to quit.
