Hey guys, about to start at a gym, you're supposed to do an introduction with one of the trainers. I feel like they're going to make me do crossfit, but I'd rather do barbell exercises and a bit of cardio, how do I convince them?

Signed up for a gym for the first time ever a couple days ago, went in for the first time today. Was pretty scared of looking stupid and doing stupid shit, but slapped myself and got my ass there.
Problem is their free weights start at 10kg and go up to 65kg, and after starting near the bottom and working my way right down to 10kg, I still couldn't lift the fuckers. I didn't think I was that weak, I can do nearly 20 pushups and 15 pullups, which isn't much but it's more than most people.
Surprised that I can't even lift their smallest weights,...

Is there a condition that prevents you from losing weight?
I'm sure of the opposite, but i have a friend that is a chemical engineer (he's a no bullshit kind of guy) and says that a friend of his had a condition that had something to do with cortisone that prevented her to lo weight, and when that condition was resolved she lost weight very quickly
I have been using it for over a week and a half and lost about 4 lbs even though I over indulged on Thanks giving.
I've never taken it by itself but when I try it with clen or EC it really spikes my heartrate to like 130bpm and cardio takes it up to like 170bpm
struggle to sleep on it and get mad heart palpitations even from just 2.5mg.
people tell you to take like 0.2mg per kg of body weight, which for me is like 20mg!
what are some simple healthy meals I can prepare in bulk on say Monday and refrigerate to be eaten during the course of the week?
Preferably with cheap ingredients like rice/beans

i recently lost about 50 pounds of fat and i want to start lifting. i'd feel more comfortable working out at home but i'm a brokeass apartment dweller so i can't go all out with a power rack, barbells, etc. like i want to. if i buy an adjustable bench and a good set of 100lb spinlock dumbbells, can i make reasonable progress with a full body dumbbell split?
i realize that lower body exercises are much better with barbells or even machines, but i only plan on running a home dumbbell routine for 6-12 months -- until i feel comfortable enough to work out in public.
Dumbbells are actually preferable for beginner because of imbalances.

I used to have depression, have been doing better lately, but today I got slammed hard with it again. Is that a valid reason to be skipping my workout today? I feel so fucking fat and doughy and weak and I'm really upset with myself for skipping a workout.
(I also used to be bulimic, so there's some body issues coming back I think)
