why are vegans often so fat?
>>35139079
Because their diet is retarded and inferior to being the part-time meat eaters we're MEANT to be.
Those fuckers are defying nature, and are getting what they deserve.
All those vegan chocolates are full of fat and oil.
>>35139079
because you've gotta eat a metric tonne of vegan shit to get enough nutrition to live
In bodybuilding you try to make the exercise as hard as you can.
Its how hard can you make the exercise and how productive can you make the muscle response in reference to that?
In powerlifting the objective is how easy can you make the exercise so that you can lift the most weight
>In bodybuilding you try to make the exercise as hard as you can.
No senpai. OHPing when standing on a bosu ball is called crossfit, not bodybuilding.

I am sure this sounded good in your head, somehow. Delete and lurk more. I'll give it a generous 2/10 since it was your first post ever on the internet.

Any University of Maryland /fit/izens plan on taking this "Fat Studies" class?
if i wanted "Fat Studies" id take a look at your mother
>>35138673
I would, just for recreational anger. I just would like to sit there as a fit person among fatties and listen. Take it all in, the whole bullshit. I wouldn't try to intervene, I know it's useless, but I would use that opportunity to understand human delusion in all it's facets, or rather one really big facet.

Fit,
How do I swim? I mean, is there a 'good' technique to get some full body cardio/ conditioning in? I want to start swimming instead of spinning so much on my cardio days.

>get in water and flail violently

I do breast stroke
>>35138652
I don't know, I can't really swim, I just figured out how not to drown. Obviously way too embarrassed to do anything about it now. I will just avoid situations that require that skill until I am dead.

My best friend used to teach kids how to swim

5kg Dumbell

Skip shoulder day
Everyday arm day.

A couple of years.
JM lifted natty for a few years then started juicing and that's when he really got impressive with his arms.
I think he measured his at 18. Which is pretty good cuz he's lean too. Hence the veins.

Looking pretty tall.
My doctor told me to take a multivitamin for the next two months because my diet has been really shitty recently. What is the best brand of multivitamin? I prefer natural shit.
https://labdoor.com/rankings/multivitamins
I take myprotein's multi. dosage wise it is pretty close to opti-men, and if it is the same quality as their protein it should be pretty good.
Opti-men is like #6 for men's vitamins.
>>35138357
>GNC that high up the list
Do people actually believe this "ranking"?
lol.
>>35138357
I saw this and was wondering how legitimate it's recommendations are. How do I know that the brands at the top aren't put there by companies paying for those spots?
Do you guys have hobbies apart from lifting and staying /fit/?
Does lifting help you with hobbies?
I skydive and sometimes fly in wind tunnels, It definitely helps to not be a fat cunt.

I collect American art pottery from the 1890-1940.
Mostly Rookwood, but getting into Newcomb, SEG, UND, etc...
Shit is so cash. American art pottery #1
Strategy/tactical games, both video and tabletop. Making lists of things, drums, muay thai, climbing trees
I need a passion though
I draw and paint
I think lifting keeps me feeling happier (like all exercise) so I can motivate myself easier

I just got off Smolov 2 weeks ago. It was brutal, but I needed it. My deadlift was 550 and my squat was 390, so I needed to push it up. Hit a 435 PR on squat and a 315 PR on bench. Kept all my bench strength, but I went in and worked up to a 1 rep today on squat and only hit 415. Not bad though.
>>35137887
Good for you.. that's rad. My squat stalled hard at 370 lbs. I couldn't hit that elustrious 4 plate that I wanted so badly so some thing had to change. I'm hoping smolov will get me there. My bench max is at 315 and it bothered me that me squat wasn't higher. Also, I don't wear knee sleeves or a belt, did you? And how mush do they help? Like will it add a rep or two?
>>35137921
I train beltless because I have an obsession with Russian lifters. Knee sleeves helped me land an additional 1 rep.
Yeah. 4 plates took forever. Definitely needed a hard bulk to get me there.
