I've been on /fit/ for a couple of years and no matter how often I ask this, I never get any sort of response.
So once again, my question is: Do sugar alcohol heavy foods (such as diabetics' food or gum or diet/light shit) impact lifting in any way other than their laxative effect?
does /fit/ eat them? how should I incorporate them in my diet? are they harmful because of aspartame?

Any of you fellas train/compete in Brazilian Jiu jitsu. If so how has this affected your workout regimen?
I got a lot weaker by choosing BJJ over lifting but now I started lifting again. It hasn't really done much to my BJJ game besides making me tired from working out more frequently.

Every time you give in you make it much harder to not give in the next time. Start out by limiting sweets to ever other day, and then every third and then once a week or something and stay with that. Or take even smaller steps, as long as you're progressing. Don't go all in and then quit like some idiot. Take small steps and be consistent 80% of the time.

Hi, /fit/. I've been a picky eater my whole life, but recent health problems have encouraged me to do otherwise. Since then, I've been able to eat:

-carrots
-peas
-corn
-cauliflower
What other vegetables should I start eating that contain nutritional value that my list might be lacking? Any advice greatly appreciated.

Leafy greens like spinach and kale. Red cabbage is fantastic, too. Beets are supposed to be good for you.
Protip: make smoothies. Blend the shit out of your vegentables and drink em, add in some frozen berries to make it taste good (don't use juice or anything).
