How much of a good idea is getting a chubby gf and getting her into fitness?
There's this girl who seems to be interested in me, and since she's kinda chubby (see pic, no her but she has the "before" body type) she's very shy so she's obviously not a whore, she has also has a nice face so she could be an 8 or 9 if she was fit.
I'm worried that she may get offended if I ask her to get fit or that she recovers her weight after she looses it.
Does anybody has any experience or advise for a situation like that?
If you become her bf then try to get her fit, the biggest thing to motivate her is your own positive reinforcement. When she does something good, when she starts losing weight, when you see any visible changes, you fucking compliment them and praise her.

hello /fit i am some guy from /a. I have finally reached rock bottom with overeating, smoking and no physical activity. I need to lose weight and i read the sticky but all of it is like reading russian for me. I have never cared about calories or carbs or anything of the sort in my entire life. I am 6ft 1 and over 300 pounds.
i did understand the part that said if you can make it with your hands its good but i have always just bought ramen and cheap shit and don't even know how to grocery shop for shit you have to cook. How do calories even work?

Fat = stored energy. That's why our body produces it.
Calorie=unit of energy. A calorie is the same thing as a joule just a different unit. Like feet vs meters.
Burn more calories than you consume and you lose weight. You have to. The laws of thermodynamics exist.
Do moderate cardio for a long period of time if you have asthma. Just stay on the treadmill for an hour and don't get off. Go whatever speed, just stay on.
One step at a time big guy, don't get overwhelmed.
For now, just eat less, drink water instead of soda, and go for walks.
Over the next few days instead of watching Magical Harem Highschool keep reading up about this stuff.

Why do so many people say that running is bad for your joint and that you should mostly do cycling and the other faggy machine with the handles that makes run without actually getting your leg offf the platform?
If running is so bad, how come there are 85 years old people that have run all their lives and are still regarded as the most healthy of individuals and can do marathons? Hell those people will probably live 20 years older than average.

/fit/ is too lazy to do cardio so they make excuses. No point in working out the most important muscle there is by doing cardio.
