I've been doing Strong Lifts 5x5 for a while but want to add in some cardio.
Can I run Couch to 5K concurrently with SL or would I be better just doing some light cardio on machines after lifting sessions?
You lift three times a week. You do three exercises each time you're there. You do 9 lifts per week. You probably spend 3 hours a week out of god knows how many.
Why on earth wouldn't you be able to some cardio on the other 4 days that you're off? Of course you can, even light cardio for 10min post workout is fine as long as you make up for the calories burnt.
How to add definition between the shoulders and bicep?
the more clean i eat the more i fart. ugly terrible farts that dont dissapear unless you ventilate that area. also my turds become more and more sticky. i dont use whey. i eat much greens almost no meat and diary. its terrible - i wake at night and must open all windows for 15 minutes because gaschamber. i eat much nuts and raw carrots - could this be it?
I squatted 50 kg today.
>there are men who still don't shave their entire body
Visiting home for a few weeks, and don't have access to a gym.
All I really have here is one 20 lb weight.
Asking for recommendations on things to do with it..
Who started this squat meme?
Every fucking day girls walk into my gym and take the rack to do wobbly heels high in the sky squats with just the bar. This is the worst meme of all time and needs to stop
>mfw sluts are blocking the squat rack to do half or quarter squats with only the fucking bar
which is better?
Both my mum and my gf are going ketogenic. They both reckon they're getting loads more energy and losing weight.
I've just started to give it a go. I can't find anything online dissing it.
Please redpill me on ketogenics
I tried low carb 3 years ago and lost but gained back weight. Lost a lot of weight just tracking calories and burn more then I eat.
Gonna give keto another go because I have acanthosis nigricans and want it to clear up.
It's just a way to get you to think about food and what you eat, same as those who go vegetarian/paleo for health reasons.
A balanced "normal" diet is still the best way to go. If they're losing weight then that's fine, but that'll be because they're intaking less calories than they're expending.
Supposedly to much ketone production can lead to ketosis, meaning too much acetone production and so potentially dangerous. However this most likely eont happen unless you are diabetic. Otherwise, if u wanna optimize ketogenic diet then u should do interval fasting. Finally, make sure u try it longer than 3 days so youre brain can adjust.
So I have a best friend who wants to get swollen with me, and we're both pretty autistic and skinny. The problem is that I have asthma and that his dad died from a genetic weakness that caused his brain vessel to weaken and burst, causing an aneurysm. Are we safe? Any precautions we should take?
We have a jug of muscle milk and a small budget for macros. IDK what routine we should do.
Lifting won't get you girls
Lifting won't make you succsesful.
What makes you succsesful is confidence. Alot of you are still unconfident /b/eta fags eventhough your bodies are improving
Focus on self improvement not just physicaly. Just getting muscles won't solve everything
Some people don't lift for fucking validation by others. Some people lift, because they want to see just how far they can push themselves.
When you're up in the morning before everyone else, and complete your daily 10 km run, it brings a smile to your face.
Some people live for that smile.
Actually lifting will make me successful and confident and get me girls through professional sports.
Get rekt normie.
You guys lied to me
You told me kratom would give me strength and make me happy
I took 8 grams last night and all I got was a stomach ache
What a huge waste of money and time
QUIT BEING SUCH A JELLY FAGGOT
I just started lifting in mid September. I've made some decent progress but from a stranger's perspective I still look like an out of shape noob.
January is coming up and I don't want people to mistake me for a New Years resolutioner.
Thoughts? How do I make it known that I'm not some dumb resolutioner that will quit half way through February?
>Roll out of bed
>Bike to work
>Leave for gym
>Have my whey, milk, burgers, fruits, and juice
