Apparently it's the most amazing super food in the world. Supposedly it's 60% pure protein and has all the essential amino acids and tons vitamis and vital minerals.
The only downside is the disgusting smell/taste and the slightly high price.
i was big into it a few years ago when i read the nutrition info and nothing else.
apparently very few of the nutrients are bio-available.
and most commercial spirulina doesn't even live up to its (non bio-available) nutritional claims

i have just started and my muscles get sore two days after the fucking workout (shoulder, arms especially), so they don't recover within 3 days and next time I lift i can't fucking do 4 reps...
should I just lift less weight that next time? or start with less weight in the begining?
it's called DOMS, do not lessen the load or intensity or reps
just wait until you've completely recovered from the DOMS before exercising, as the DOMS soreness is mostly caused by lactic acid in your muscles, if you exercise before it's all flushed out then you risk not recovering at all before breaking your muscles down again, resulting in you actually becoming weaker (as you see, you only did 4 reps)
it's essential to let yourself recover, DOMS will lessen and eventually stop after a few weeks, you'll learn to miss it desu
Have you guys noticed that Novice programs like 3x5 and 5x5 have a shit more total volume and tonnage moved weekly than stuff like Texas Method or Madcows?
