I'm trying to form a low card diet to start lifting weights on.
I'm interested in losing body fat (currently at about 25%/Skinny fat mode) but need to get my lifts up. Also because of various health reasons I want to lessen my carb intake.
I looked into Keto and it looks insane. 60% of your daily intake is fat and you can't eat fruits or oats. Are there any smart low carb diets that are good for bodybuilding?
>to start lifting weights
>Also because of various health reasons I want to lessen my carb intake.
But most of the healthiest foods are high in carbs
> Having a discussion in class today about " Trigger Warnings"
> Fatphobia listed, I raise my hand to speak
> Teacher calls on me
> " I don't understand fatphobia"
> " What don't you understand about it anon?"
> " Well nobody wants to be fat, and nobody has to be fat, so why is it a phobia?"
> Hambeast glaring at me from across the room
> " Well you don't know, some people have eating disorders and-"
> " Those are treatable mental illnesses. I'm talking about normal people "
> Hambeast loses it
> "WHAT DO YOU MEAN, NORMAL PEOPLE!?!"
> I've been waiting for this all year
> It's finally fucking happening
> I play dumb to bait her
> " Oh you know, people like you and me. We can choose how we want our bodies to look like."
> Hambeast visibly upset
> " SOME OF US CAN'T LOSE WEIGHT. YOU CAN'T JUST DIET AND GET SKINNY, IT'S A LOT OF WORK AND ONLY PEOPLE WITH GOOD GENETICS CAN DO THAT SO YOU REALLY CANT TALK FOR OTHERS JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE GOOD GENES"
> I pretend to be shocked, and apologize
> " I'm so sorry, I had no idea you suffered from an eating disorder."
> The ham can't control itself, takes the bait
> " I DON'T HAVE AN EATING DISORDER, JUST BECAUSE I DON'T CONFORM TO MODERN BEAUTY STANDARDS DOESN'T MEAN I'M NOT BEAUTIFUL"
> " Oh, so if you don't have any mental disorder, why don't you just go on a diet?"
> " I TRIED DIETS THEY DON'T WORK I CAN'T JUST EAT A SALAD ALL DAY"
> " That's your problem, nobody's supposed to eat all day."
> She tears up and leaves the classroom
How'd I do brehs
So, everybody that looked good back then used an approach called volume training. Arnold, Zane, Oliva, Nubret, everyone.
So, how do you calculate the percentages to use? I mean, you do what?
>9-12 sets per muscle group
>3 exercises per muscle group
> 3-4 sets per exercises
>Reps always 10 and above
Shouldn't you be using some really low % of your 1RM for that kinda volume? I never found any calculator for that anywhere, plesae halp!
Read about Nubret's routine once. Take a weight you can press for 20 reps, but only do 10-12 reps. Cut your rest time down to 30 secs between sets.
Doubt this is effective for mass without roid assistance, but it should get you a good pump.
Actually, high load doesn't increase your chances at hypertrophy at all. Volume does. There are dozens of studies about this.
The only reason I lift is to look good. I don't care about strength, ony aesthetics and look.
I want the body pic related, this is my workout routine every day:
Everyday after I wake up and before I go to bed - 2 minute rest between
20 bicycle crunches
20 spiderman planks
20 Press Ups
Exercises for the middle of the day - 5 minute rest between - 50lbs barbell
10 bench presses
10 bicep curls
Are squats and deadlifts actually necessary? What is the best routine for a body like pic related?
is eating an ordered pizza ok if you're
How do I into meditating, /fit/? Do I just sit in there in silence or do I chant? Do I think or do I just clear my mind?

I am a 6' 200 lb out of shape /fat/fag who has decided he wants to join the military. I used to be in very good shape, but a several years of soda, fast food, and depression have completely killed my physical. The staff sergeant says I have to lose 10 lbs to even go to physical, nevermind actually meeting minimum PT requirements.
I've already cut soda and fast food completely out of my life in the past week and am beginning to work towards minimum requirements today (13 minute 1 mile run, 50 push ups / minute, 42 sit-ups / minute). I understand...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Also, I do have every intention of exceeding requirements as much as possible, meaning I will be upping my intensity on these as I meet them. Right now they're just the starting point. I'm mostly looking for other ways to supplement my workout that don't require a trip to a gym.
Can you pass the tape test? To cut weight fast, reduce carbohydrate intake as close to zero as possible. Cut water out before weigh in. If you're close for the tape test I'm sure the recruiter will give you the ol' saran wrap and preparation H treatment.
I get up in the morning and feel like dying, no motivation to go to work or workout or do anything. Also just simple bad mood everyday.
I eat lots and decent, sleep at least 7 hours a day, I supplement myself with 10g creatine a day, and Nitrox Therapy+BCAA pre-workout, fish oil in the morning and evening.
How do you maintain good energy level? Any tips? halp pls
Stop fapping. Stop drugs. Use less pre-workouts. Eat better. Cardio.
And energy is very mental. Think of the best, happiest, most fun version of you in every situation and watch your energy skyrocket.
Freak out every time you are depressed, like fuck, you have so much to be grateful for and you want to be low energy and depressed?! No way man!
Rate my lunch.
I need a 2000 kcal breakfast to bulk
There is one problem
/fit/ keeps telling me that omelettes with 6 eggs are bad because of the yolk, and can fuck my health on the long term
i can't eat oats for shit, they're fucking nasty cuh!
Seriously help me /fit/
>/fit/ keeps telling me that omelettes with 6 eggs are bad because of the yolk, and can fuck my health on the long term
Literally the only people telling you that are vegans and trolls. Do some research of your own if you want, yolks are fine.
Also, you don't need a 2000 kcal breakfast to bulk, you're not that advanced. If you were, you wouldn't be posting this thread.
Alright /fit/ we're going grocery shopping
What's on the list?
OATZ NIGGA. STEEL CUT OATZ.
Oh and a tub of Creatine.
So is this what /fit/ considers "high test"? What do you think her bmi/bf is? Is this achievable coming from being a tall skelly gril
