Is training upperbody 3 times a week with a two day break in between workouts overtraining? My friend is doing this and I'm trying to tell him he is hurting his gains. Or am I in the wrong?

Overtraining is a meme. If you're able to perform the same movements, and the same weight, without hurting yourself. Then you're not overtraining.

Didn't see one in the catalog. I eat way below my TDEE (1000 cals) but Im not losing any weight. I do have pretty poor nutrition, but from what everyone on here says, it's all about calories in, calories out. What's going on?

tl;dr I just got put on house arrest so no more gym. No funds for a home gym, so I'm limited to my bodyweight.
