Im ready to get this shit off me!
I have been in cross country, swimming, and football in highschool, and ALWAYS stood around the 240-280lbs range.
I have always been confident in myself, and never cared about my body until now. I just want to look better really.
Tell me a good plan guys! I work at a YMCA, and i get free membership to the gym. I have about a good two hours to play with after my shift.
Im only doing interval cardio on a treadmill, and swimming in the pool, but I feel like its not enough.
Im currently with my parents on a carb...

If you've always been a bit bigger no matter what, active, and your diet wasn't complete garbage I'd have your thyroid checked just to make sure it's ok. My thyroid was bad and I've always been a bigger, active guy that couldn't lose weight no matter what I did. In fact I just had the flu for 5 days, ate nothing and didn't lose a pound.
Just a heads up so you're not spinning wheels and wondering why nothing is working.
I already had my thyroid checked, Im good.
I read it m8, about three times through the years. Nothing really changed about it, and the info given is basic stuff that I already kinda know about.
nothing wrong with some info from people who have been there done that.

HOW DO INTO MIKE TYSON MODE?
"Oddly enough, she could still have a disorder in the second one. There is a disorder in the same group as bulimia and anorexia where one compulsively exercises intensely, and it can actually be bad as well. Good on her for at least seeming to be more healthy, and I hope that she really is healthier."
Anon hows your disorder treating you? Feeling a bit sick?
Hope you are healthy haha!

The smaller subs are okay. For example /r/bodybuilding is a lot smaller than /r/fitness, and is infinitely better as a result.
but any main sub is absoulte garbage, no exceptions.
Reddit is filled with shills, retards and autists. The fuck are you doing on there? At least you know for a fact 4chan is filled with retarded autists only. Don't ever leave us again senpai.
> used to go to the gym every day after I finished school homework
> now have no time to lift because of work
> weekdays have to clean the house and shit
I miss those days. Treasure every trip to the gym guys.
Post your chest workout/routine go!
where were you when JM was kill
Someone screencap please
Also when I'm sumo deadlifting should the bar be scraping my shins or no? I usually get marks on them and sometimes they bleed if I'm not wearing long socks and I want this to stop
Ive come to accept that with my full time college life (15+ credits of STEM major) and part time work (15-20h a week) I can't afford to CONSISTENTLY go to the gym 3x a week for ~1h to lift throughout my hectic quarter.
I was thinking of getting these bowflex dumbbells that have adjustable weights up to 52.5 lb. One concern is that I won't have a flat bench to do exercises like pectoral flies, chest press....and im wondering if that would be a problem? I will probably just use my floor, as a solid surface to lie down on
My current routine would look like this at home every other day (3.5x a week), and work the full body
Bent Dumbbell row (Back) x 10 ... 3 sets per arm
Dumbbell squats (Legs) x 12.... 3 sets
Dumbbell Bench Press (Chest/triceps) x 10..... 3 sets
Calf Raises with one leg (Calves) x 20….. 3 sets per leg
Planks x 60s-120s (Abs)…. 3 sets
Farmers walk 45s-1:30 (Forearms + Upper back)….. 3 sets
Dumbbell Stepping Lunge (Legs)…. 3 sets
Bicep curls x 10 (Biceps)….. 3 sets
Does this routine look good, and how will I be able to get the full motion of Pectoral fly/ bench press without a flat bench?
You won't be able to do the dumbbell bench press without a bench. If you do it on the floor your arms won't be able to extend back as far as they should. If you can't get a bench, your best bet is to makeshift one with a chair or two, and have it so your arms can fully go back.
Don't do farmer walks with that low amount of weight, it's pointless.
>people are browsing /fit/ right now haven't read the sticky
You really, really should just go and read it guys. I covers most of the retarded questions asked on here.
Also, I vaguely remember Harsh's worksheet being HEAVILY edited at one point which is when the main sticky was changed back to the original. Looking through the History now, was it Brotein that majorly fucked it up or someone else?
