My personal trainer buddy just gave me a routine that has zero compound exercises. He told me since I had been doing twelve weeks of them, I should change up my routine for four to eight weeks and then go back to compounds

guys, please help. ive been working out alot for the past 4 or 5 months (ex-fatty) and ive lost alot of weight, ive been doing mostly cardio and body weight exercises and i want to start going to a gym. what the hell can i do so people wont think im just one of those new year resolutioners who will go there for a week and then leave? if i go now, people will think im an early resolutioner, if i go after new years (around febuary) people will think im an even worse resolutioner than normal ones since i started a month after everyone else. what do i do /fit/?!
im in the same boat mate. Not much you can do. Just suck it up and don't care what other people think. Besides there will probably be a whole bunch of them there so it's not like you'll be singled out. Come March they will be mostly gone and you'll look like a resolutioner that has stuck with it which at least that is commendable.

and then, you do this for about your entire life, maybe half if you get lazy when you're old. suddenly people wont see you as a new years resolutioner

It's not bad, bit high in volume so expect to stay in the gym for a while.
I, and most people here, stick to 4-5 exercises per workout.
This is what I go with and many others here too. I add 1 or 2 accessory lifts to each workout and do cardio on the side.

Hi guys, I'm fed up with all the faggots asking for routines who havent read the sticky - help me make a new routine to give to them. Basically all I need to do so far is to put pictures of ripped guys on for authenticity, and maybe a few pictures of obese people to show what "SSfags look like".
