Title, are supplements pure bullshit or do some of them actually work?
Right now i take Protein powder and creatine.
>>37775956
Creatine did jack shit for me.
Protein is useful if you struggle to hit your macros otherwise.
Anything more than .8g/lb is unnecessary, tho
>>37775956
Apparently yohimbine hcl works ok but I doubt it. Creatine is good
>>37776023
Nah.
I still have half a bottle of yohimbine that i will probably never use
I think it only works for people who didnt fast already, as it makes you abide by a fast.
If you do the fast without the Yhcl you get the same results, maybe even slightly better
Which is better join a gym or a martial art
ps: i am asking because i don"t have time for both
>>37775918
Better for what?
Obviously /fit/ is gonna tell you to lift, and only lift
If you've already got a strength base might as well do a martial art. But if you are a weak fuck knowing HOW to martial art isn't going to do anything.

Not true man
Jujitsu is great for cardio and developing core muscles. If your trainer is worth a damn they will also have knowledge of at least basic weight training programs for you to start with.
I'm 6 foot, 120 pounds. I desperately want to put on weight, but it seems like no matter how much I eat I can't gain a fucking ounce. I don't even care about having tons of muscle, I just want to be a healthy, average weight for my height.
Should I even try to put on weight /fitbros/ or am I doomed to skelly life forever?
>>37775885
How do you defy physics by creating energy from nothing? We could solve the energy crisis with your body alone
>>37775885
>no matter how much I eat
All human knowledge about the physiology of nutrition and digestion determines that is a lie
Eat 3 pounds of meat and a gallon of milk a day while doing PPL or SS and you'll gain weight.
>>37775885
>>37776034
This. I used to be 6'2 140. You probably underestimate how much you actually eat. Also if you're young your metabolism will eventually slow down
Yo /fit/, do bodybuilders get big guts like pic related because of their meals? I'm trying to understand since some are so lean.
>>37775827
thats what happens when you eat watermelon seeds
Insulin abuse
>>37775827
They don't work their transverse ab at all
>be me, a Pajeet
>working out for the past year
>keep an eye out for Pajeeta's
>not a single one is into fitness
>they are all either hungry skelingtons, skinnyfat, or hamplanets
why did I bother with the /fit/ness meme
how hard is it working out in cargo pants, polo shirts, and sandals?
>>37775314
DESIGNATED
>>37775314
Why do you always wear polos to the gym
So my friend on this pic went from the body to the right to the body on the left in just 2 weeks. I made him go to the gym because he was anorexic, he was 50 kg when we weigh him, today he was 62. Just in 2 weeks. How is that possible? And im 100% he didnt inject any shady stuff since I was the one who made him go to the gym, but he always wears hoodie so I didnt notice the gains before he sent me this picture today.
Anyone???
Another one
And this last one.. Anyone can explain?
>>37775310
Thanks Skelly
Synthol or nah?
>>37775039
strongfat
plenty of powerlifters with his physique, don't understand your confusion
>>37775039
he is so fat he warps the wall behind him.
Is this physique acheivable natty?
I need to know.
I'm a woman who has been vegan for about 2 months now, and I've been working out (was working out before). I have been super horny all the time since going vegan (I literally just realized the timeline ads up). Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a temporary thing?
You can swallow my mushroom
I'm happily married, but my husband does not have the drive that I do. I end up masturbating at least once every day, but it's even beginning to affect me at work :-/
It's your body telling you to pass your genes as fast as possible because you will likely die for following a meme diet.
When going out and you have to drink something without alcohol what do you order?
water. or coffee.
>>37774546
Water, what the fuck.
/thread
>>37774546
water or coca-cola
Are there any side effects to supplements like pic related? Does it cause hairloss, gyno or any other kind of bad shit?
I just want to have it to help me reach my protein and caloric goal, I lifted for months but still look and have the strength of a beginner because it's hard to get 3k calories as a skelly.
>>37774376
Its full of sugar and overall waste of money, you're much better off making your own with whey oats peanut butter and whole milk
Just got my second batch last week of Serious Mass. It's the shit bro. No side effects on my side except some little pimples but that's cause I already have acne. Oh well... Not a biggie.
If you got questions, ask me.
>>37774376
its not hard you are just dumb
drink some milk to your meals and you reach 3k easy as fuck
What's /fit/ opinion on training to failure? i.e working out without a routine
>>37774216
>i.e working out without a routine
Fucking retarded
>>37774216
>What's /fit/ opinion on training to failure?
Can be an effective part of a routine, but it can also have a negative impact on the rest of the routine.
>i.e working out without a routine
How are these even remotely the same thing?
it will shock your muscles but after some time they'll adapt
Alright /fit/, I want your help to settle an autistic debate I'm having with a bro, as well as guide my progress.
>TLDR: What's the best body type for surviving a moshpit, and how do you go about obtaining it?
I've been going to heavy metal shows, as well as the occasional punk, psychobilly, and ska show since HS. In HS, I did bodyweight exercises and jogged to keep fit. I took up weightlifting about 2 years ago in an effort to better dominate (24 now.)
Some things I've noticed:

Have you ever even been in a mosh pit, OP?

I need help I'm looking up a lot about bench press here lately and I tried asking my friend but I'm not sure if he's right I'm currently 360 pounds and I can only do 145 for a few reps but he seems to think I should be able to handle more weight because I'm bigger
>>37774060
Does he have a valid argument at all?
Are you really 400 fucking pounds you fucking piece of shit ?
1st time buying a bar for both arms at once, how the fuck do u hold it, So awkward
>>37773872
You moron that's a Squat/Bench Bar, the little hill in the middle is supposed to go around your neck on squats or over your throat on bench.
Fucking summerfags.
>Bb=botharmsatonce bar
That's a walking stickl
Hey /fit/ i really need your help.
lets start with some information about me
my name is irrelevant, im 20 years old and from germany.
Since i can imagine im thin and i never had a problem with that until i was 16.. ive realized how "thin" i really am because my "friends" and schoolmates said things like "holy shit bro you are thin as fuck" or "look at those arms/legs" or " do you get food at home" Everyone ive ever met said something about my body and how thin i look. and ive realized im really fucking thin. i never...

>I can eat whatever I want but can't gain weight
There should be a flowchart for stupid excuses like this. You are probably severely underestimating your calorie intake.
IF YOU EAT MORE CALORIES THAN YOU NEED YOU WILL GAIN WEIGHT, YOU ARE EITHER NOT EATING ENOUGH OR NEED TO EAT MORE
>>37773707
You're confusing 'eating whatever I want' with 'eating enough'. If you want to gain weight and its not happening, you up your calorie intake until it does. That isn't always fun.
>>37773707
get your iron checked. if you have intenstinal problems they could cause poor absorbtion of nutries which would make it hard to gain. For that matter, get full blood tested. Then eat sugar and unhealthy crap until you gain a little pudge. Now add protein supplements and high protein to that diet and work out. If you're working out at maximum, gaining muscle and not losing that initial pudgy fat you gained, then you're doing good. If you start losing the pudgy fat, EAT MORE carbs in addition to the already...
