So it's finally 2016 and I want to actually try stick to my resolution this year, and get fit.
I've always been athletic and fairly strong so I think I should go for an intermediate routine. How does this look? Any suggestions?

Sure. Just do heavy compound lifts, and get 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight, spread across 4-6 meals throughout the day.
yeah you can easily reach that in a year natty. just make sure you eat 6 small meals a day and drink a lot of whey protein shakes. make sure to drink a shake within 5 mins of the end of your workout or you will go catabolic and lose out on enhanced protein synthesis.
you can only eat boiled chicken,broccoli and brown rice. anything else is called dirty food and it will impede your goals

So it's really common to see that when people do rows from the floor, they start "cheating" by extending the hips, dipping their chest into the barbell, etc., especially when the weight gets heavy. I don't think I've ever seen a person row more than 3pl8 without doing this.
My question is: how much cheating should be allowed when rowing from the floor? Is it necessary in order to pull really heavy weight, or are people stupid for doing it?

Cheat a little, add weight over time, get stronger. Just don't go full retard and injure yourself. Perfect firm isn't useful; good enough form to prevent injury, perform the movement efficiently, and target the correct muscles is. Don't be stuck rowing 135 for years because you were scared to let your back angle change a few degrees on your final reps.
