Anyways I can't do weightlifting because the process of weightlifting requires us to somethings do the Valsalva maneuver (when you breathe against a closed throat), which raises blood pressure and increases potential damage to my blood vessels
It's not a end all be all kind of thing, but its a general consensus among doctors that it should be avoided, even though my repair procedure went OK when I was 5 (24 now)
Well you won't ever pull heavy ass deadlifts or squat the moon, but lighter weights (while breathing normally) shouldn't be a problem, right?
And there's also static exercises (like wall sits) where progressive overload doesn't come from more weight, but longer holding times or different angles.
Then there's all kinds of cardio, which won't make you big, but you can still get impressively fit and healthy.
Hey /fit/, Skelly here trying to bulk and be healthy at the same time.
I've tried counting calories for the first time in my life, and I've found that on days i'm heathy I consistantly eat 300 or more below my TDEE, and only on days when I cheat a little (slice of cake here, potato chips there) do I ever make my calorie count.
How the fuck do I bulk? Or even maintain? I'm trying to make the switch to a healthy lifestyle but I have to eat so much... Any recipies or guides for healthy bulking?

I've tried it, it's neat and challenging and definitely burns a lot of calories. Mixing lifting and cardio would be better in every possible way that I can think of, but if you want to try it, it's got some neat stuff in it.
The only issue I had is my bad knees because they do a lot of jumping exercises.
is there ANY app or website where I can track my micronutritions (Vitamins, minerals etc.).
Im living alone for like 6 months now and im afraid that i dont eat enough vitamins and stuff.
I'm always tired, no motivation, bad concentration etc.. Im already trying to eat healthy (trying to eat atleast 3 different fruits a day).
Would be alot easier to make a mealplan and track my micros.
Will be dumping /fit/ recipes for help and tips.

Red pill me on Accutane /fit/. My dermatologist suggested I should take it. Besides common side effects of dry lips and fragile skin, how often are joint and muscle related issues? Would appreciate Accutane stories from people who used it

It's really not that severe on the face, more on the shoulders, upper arms and back. But still you are right on that. Does a 6 month blast equal permanent healing? Also did you have problems with lifting?

your body isn't used to eating a lot, eat peanut butter, eat everything you can stomach and then a little bit more, you'll get more used to it and be able to stomach more over time. just don't puss out or make excuses about how its hard to eat a lot
