So, if I've been on a 3k+ Cal diet for over 1y, and I'm setting up / starting to cut out carbs for a bit because I read that an abundance can cause cellular gumming or something. Notably, I didn't actually lift through that diet and also didn't gain any weight it would seem. I guess I do a lot of brainstorming, as I'm mostly sedentary. Is my metabolism going to eat potential gains?

I started to eat clean week ago after a long time and yesterday I noticed acetone smelling breath is coming from my mouth. I tried to brush my teeth and tongue again, then took a chewing gum, but it didn't go away. After that I remembered, this is something that happens when you are on keto diet so I ate some bananas, apples and kiwis t to refill my sugar storages, but today it's the same shit. I wasn't trying to purposely avoid carbs, but it happened anyway. Should I eat more sugar to stop it, or will it disappear naturally?
