When training for volume, should I do the absolute max I can rep for 12x3, or should I take lighter weights so I can do a more perfect rep and really feel the burn.
What I'm asking really is; should I focus on feeling the burn and the pump when going for volume?

Im 21, 5'11", 207 lb, male, and have been trying to achieve a leaner, more attractive body (I've been the fat kid in class since kindergarten and throughout highschool).
I have been working out everyday for 3 months, with each session being 10 min of running on a treadmill at 7m/h and 40 min of weightlifting, with no results besides getting my upper body *slightly* more toned - belly and butt and thighs are still chubby.
Is my routine not good enough?...

My girlfriend has been complaining about her belly. She has lost quite a bit of weight while we have been dating and is now at 140, more or less at the lower end of what i have read is healthy for a 5'10" female.
What do?
She and I have been wanting to get stronger and have been doing more or less what is in the wiki in the sticky, With me lifting 5-6 days/week and little cardio to bulk up. She does 3 days of 45 min cardio and 3 of lifting with me.
