Started deadlifting a few months ago. My first PR was around 190lb I believe, now it's at 290lb. My question is, is this an "acceptable" PR for my my height and weight? I see posts of guys who are way smaller than I am, lifting A LOT more weight than me. Am I just weak or are they just too fucking good at this? Also what should be an ideal body weight for me if I want to be "bearmode"? Do you guys have any personal stories or comments and also do you have have some deadlifting transformation pictures? I never grew out of it. I just live in shittier neighborhood and can't run at night anymore. That and weird knee issue. I used to run a 5k 6 days a week. Now I'm too busy or impeded by injury. I've recently turned to swimming. Its not that same :/
So I posted on here 2 weeks ago about losing weight by lifting and by recommendation me and my friends have started the stronglifts 5x5 program for 6 months. I've been lifting for two weeks 3 days a week and here's what I do

I make 4 cups of raw steel cut oats ever morning, add 1/2 cup blueberries, 1/2 cup strawberries, half a banana, 1/4 cup raisins, 1/4 cup walnuts, and a small spoonful of cinnamon. Pour myself a glass of almond milk with cinnamon and flaxseed to go with my oats and there is really nothing that can top it. Best oatmeal ever.
