How come my bench press sucks so much /fit/?
My stats (all for 3x5 except deadlifts) are as follows and my bench press is proportionally even more pathetic than my other lifts.
Pendlay row: 70kg
Pull ups: 7kg added
I failed trying to hit 67.5kg for 3x5 last night. I have been trying to improve my technique but surely it can't be holding me back that much?
Where is the hand placement on a standard olympic bar? (How wide?
Are you sure your form doesnt suck? Do your brace your core to support the load?
deload 10% work way back up, maybe switch to dumbl bel for a little
Total, absolute newfag here. Sorry guys..I have a really stupid question.

Just turned 18 and my height is about 5 6 and a half. 3 months ago at the doctors, it was about the same. A year ago I think I was 5 6 1/4 or something. I'm not as bothered by my height as I used to be, but wouldn't mind a few inches of course. The thing is, my height is pretty unusual for my family. My dad's family isn't that tall; he's about 5 8 and a half and so are most of the males. He does have a 5 foot sister, though. My mom's family is pretty tall though. The males are 5 foot- 6foot 2 or so. Mom as well as dad is 5 8 and a half. I think...

I don't want to be that guy anon but height is mainly genetics a good diet helps but ultimately it's your genes that determine your ultimate height. Personally I was always 6'4 once I hit 16 but then the other month I went to the doctor and he told me I grew an inch mind you this is at 20 years old. So its really all variable
That's funny, I'm almost 21 and just measured my height for the first real time with tape measure and it turns out I'm 5'6 as well. Always thought I was 5'8 because I would use other people as a comparison and I was taller than people who said they were 5'7. I can't say I care too much I'm more just shocked that almost everyone I've known or met lies about their height
So I have been working out last spring and lost about 20lbs. I know it's not much but it's something. However lately have been on and off my work out. I'm really going to be committed now. I just wondering how long would it take to achieve this type of body. I was hoping by June or July. This is how I look now.
how much it takes to achieve a body like this?
Why do so few women lift weights? I've been working out for about 5 years at several different co-ed gyms. One thing that I've noticed at all of them is that very few women actually lift weights. There might be one or two who consistently lift, but aside from them I almost never see women in the free weight area. The overwhelming majority only do cardio, which does very little for muscular development. In any case what's up with that? Do women just not want to be strong?
Side thought: I've also noticed that a lot of gym literature and advertising is very...

Who /dancing/ here?
Just started taking Salsa lessons, this shit is great
Good cardio and it's really boosting my confidence around women, too.
I had a girl in one of groups in college who danced regularly... she said that essentially it is almost impossible for two dance partners not to hook up after touching each-other all over. If you get into a good dancing group, expect to have a lot of opportunities
Sure, you kids probably got plenty of power. But how's your speed and stamina? How quickly can you throw out ten punches? What's the max number of full-strength full-speed punches you can deliver to a punching bag before you get exhausted?
Gimme yo fightin stats, you fuckin jabroni
Enjoy missing all your slow as fuck punches and not having the stamina to keep throwing more.
>go to a busy gym in Central London
>always at least 7-10 people in the freeweight area
>I am literally the only person who squats above 110kg
wtf. I am like near the bottom in terms of bench press or OHP - what gives?
/fit/ told me 110kg was meh-tier
falling for the ohp meme..
you shoulders will revolt on you
Current body thread: first day of cutting edition. Compare aesthetics and lifts. Also tell me where I need to improve so I don't look like a retard when I go skinny again.
>weight 193 lbs
>height 5 foot 9 manletmode
>max bench 365 lbs
>max squat 505 lbs
>max deadlift 585 lbs
So I found out whey was giving me really bad shits, (not a lactose thing, I'm intolerant so I take an enzyme and with that its still just as bad) so I was looking at alternatives. Pea protein is literally just as cheap and seems pretty solid. Obviously not optimal, but is it worth it?
Greetings you fitties, I'm a whale and I'm going to change it, I only need help in one way and that's where to start and where to aim, I'm currently 16.7 Stone, which translates to 106 Kilograms.
What type of cardio is the best?
How frequently should I do it?
Alternate to gym when lack of money?
And last but not least, thanks for any contribution.

I have never had a real massage before. Is this something I should do once in a while? The closest was a chiropractor for myalgia in the neck/shoulders.
I lived in China for a few months and had a massage ones a week (without the happy end). I miss it. This shit here is expensive as fuck, in China I had to pay around 15 Dollar for a massage.
is this the most recent picture where Piana looks human?
