does anyone have tips for social gains? I want to make more friends and meet new girls outside of my school circle.
I know classes can be good for that but I don't know what to pick, anybody knows a hobby/class that's like 50/50 men and women?? I also would like suggestions besides classes if possible
Pretty much been killing it for 10 yrs now. Started training martial arts and that got me into studying various topics(history, finance, economics, government, etc). I simplified my life to the point where all I do is work, train, hang with my wife, and hang with my family. I don't have time for friends because I truly don't need them. If they're like-minded then they train with me. Many have started but they all fell eventually. Im the friend that improves your life just by you hanging out with me. I have a great job that allows me to train at work as well as...

I really recommend this book. Also 'Rich Dad Poor Dad' is great if you are new to personal finance. Its an easy read and gives a good general approach to financial independence. 'Money Master the Game' gives good direct knowledge on what to do and how to do it.
Whats the best app for tracking workouts and or calories?
Anyone here work out at the Alphalete gym?
>been eating well since New Years
>pretty much tofu, chicken, nuts, rice every day
>lost 10 lbs
>past couple of days have been just getting high and eating a shit ton of food
I feel awful bros. What do you do to get back on the bandwagon? Fuck.
"One day in the gym doesn't make you. One day out doesn't break you."
We all have set backs, either self induced or external. Take responsibility for your actions. If you get high, do so before bed. If you're out, practice restraint and be affirmative with people who try and veer your off your path.
Use the energy in the gym tomorrow, you hear me? Also, use the dubs as motivation.
Reminder that his fuckboy has a "perfect body" according to this music video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AzRyxGBGiAE
I actually feel repulsed by this desu. How can someone so fucking small be in any way physically attractive? Is it because muh abs and pecs? Is this literally what women want? I'd rather go 100% gay before lowering myself to this kind of bullhshit physique
Can I get away with eating a big 1000 calorie dinner and still lose weight if my other two meals before hand were like 500 each? That would leave me in the 2000 calorie zone, so I would still lose weight, right.
How are my recovering fat friends holding up?
What's your diet like?
How much do you have left to lose?
Some of us will make it.
I've been stuck at 110kg for half a year now. I used to be 130kg one year ago.
At the very least I have stopped gaining weight, which is good and important. But I need to drop at least another 20kg at 184cm to be considered somewhat normal.
I keep coming back to sweets and fast food every or every other week, and then I eat properly for a week or a few days again. So, yeah. I've basically stabilized in terms of weight but I'm not exactly eating healthy.
What makes you happy /fit/?
I just got my Planet Fitness card and I'm really excited, but do you guys have any advice about that place? Like the machines to use and the diet I should try out?
Absolute trash. They won't let you do any compound movements or make much noise. It's a place literally designed to get fatties to sign up for a year and show up for two weeks
I'll just leave this here.
im trying to join the royal marines but i need to gain 4 kg which is hard for me, i was wondering if anyone had any 1000kcal shake mix recipies or any protein poweders that pack more than 404 kcal per 100g than my current protein shake, i hit the gym 3/4 times and run 3 times a week. any help on how to gain mass would be great
im very skinny always have been like i dont have any fat on me what so ever, i eat a lot of peanuts. can i add peanut butter into my shake? i only have a blender bottle though. i eat a lot of chicken and pasta and easily take on more calories than i consume
More than 400 calories per 100 grams ha here some science retard there is 4 calories in 1 gram of protein 4 calories in 1 gram of carbs and 8 calories in one gram of fat so sure eat a block of fat to get them calories
For a shake here are the ingredients protein powder, banana, oats, peanut butter, instant coffee
Try figuring out the portions if you can
>told myself I'd start dieting today
>already had 4500 calories while still hungry
Obesity is unbeatable

MFP has too many different options, so I'm asking from your local hole in the wall Chinese Take Out place, how many calories does the delicious General Tso's Chicken have?
How did you get your form correct, /fit/? I'm doing SS and reading the book, but my squat feels fucked. The outside of my left knee hurt when I went down today, and I don't want to get injured.
Just like with anything you get better the more you lift. Except, you know, you could die if you get ahead of yourself.
Do you research on form, start with the bar, and start adding weight when you're feeling comfortable.
I asked a PT a few days ago, he just told me not to squat low bar because it's too dangerous.
That seemed like shit to me, he was also tiny as fuck. I'll ask a big guy next time.
Any other good /fit/-related movies?
