I have a problem with eating, and don't know how to control myself. I noticed while running yesterday that my knees hurt. So I weighed myself and looked up my BMI, and found out I recently crossed the threshold for Obesity as my BMI is 30 exactly.
I'm asking you because this isn't exactly covered in the sticky. I'm not drowning myself in soda, chips, and candy. I can't afford that. I just eat too fucking much.

Soda, chips and candy aren't filling, which is how you can eat so much and still be hungry. Replace those with fiber, fat, and protein filled foods and it should help a bit.
Dude, I'm not even reading that. Just eat less. There's literally nothing more to it. Oh, you're still hungry? Well congratu-fucking-lations, you're dieting to lose weight. If you actually want to lose the weight, you will. If not, then you'll stay where you are, if not, worse.

and there is no solution for it. i've been on finasteride for 3 years and switched to dutasteride. it doesnt seem to help much. transplants? will only work when you have managed to stop your hairloss with medication and have plenty of donor hair on the back.

Concerned lifter here,
So, I took two years off lifting due to some lifestyle issues. Now that I'm back, I apparently have hip tightness issues that cause lower back pain. I can lift with the pain and it goes away while lifting, but for the past month my right knee has felt weak whenever under tension. When I go to squat I can feel it start to hurt as I get near parallel, not to mention when I squat deeper. If I flex my quads while sitting the pain also comes out, but doesn't bother me when sumo deadlifting. Any ideas?
Go very easy with the weights. Don't lift for your ego.
Search for mobility exerises and do them every single day. Start very light und don't stretch until it hurts. Making mobility a habit is hard but it really works. Do them every single day even when you don't feel like doing it.
No heavy lifting is worth having fucked up joints in my opinion. When it just doesn't get better after a month visit a doctor. My gym buddy hurt his knee and still lifted heavy ignoring the pain. He can't squat/deadlift heavy at all now although over 3 years...

recently my right nut would be sore and so today i decided to touch myself and find out why

I've been stretching 4-5 times a week for 30+ minutes the last couple months (sometimes multiple times a day) and I have seen 0 progress on the end goal. I can still barely do 1/4 ROM bodyweight squat.

So there's this guy posting a daily fitness thread on /r9k/ with tips, charts and nutrition advices.
Most of his infos look pretty solid, he suggested a dumbbell workout routine for beginners wishing to home gym many times though, and some people from here might have said it was shit.
Program was :
5x5 military press
5x5 shoulder press
5x5 french press
5x5 pull ups
So is it good or not?
Alternatively, what are some actual good dumbbell a beginner could do at home with db and pull up bar?
