Have terrible pain in Low right side of back (lumbar) when sitting for long periods or any sort of physical exertion. I've been working out for 2 months but now I can't. No money for PT or anything like that. What to do?
/fit/, how do I undo 8 years' worth of damage to my skin?
tl;dr: took very hot showers since middle school, skin starts getting itchy whenever I do anything exercise related. Are there any products that can help me?
I was a complete dumbass and had no idea that hot showers were bad for my skin. I thought they steamed your skin and made the pores open up or something retarded like that.
The way I've been taking showers since the 6th grade was pic related: turn around, let the steaming hot water hit my back and scalp for like 15 minutes, and then...

I'm by no means an expert but here are my recommendations:
>Apply some sort of moisturiser daily to the dry skin
>Dont take super hot showers
>Just run through the 'itchyness' isn't that a bit of a pussy excuse to stop running, its not like its damaging you if you run through it?
Thanks, I've been trying to put on lotion as much as possible. I have no idea how to moisturize my scalp though, my hair gets in the way.
>Just run through the 'itchyness'
I've tried, anon. I'm weak. I accept that. It's impossible for me, the itchy sensation is more intense than anything I've felt before, and there was a time where I had poison sumac on like 60% of my body. It's worse than that.
I'm a doctor faggot
99.99999999 percent chance the itching starts to occur right as your heart rate gets stable and high. Riiiiiight before you start sweating it will itch like crazy. You ll see this a lot in sedentary people in cold climates who have literally never exercised in their lives.
Sweat more faggot.
Other CBT was getting old, post bodies, comment/give advice.
Hey /fit/, I've been running and working out for a few weeks, and I've been losing weight. My face is still chubby af. I'm currently 140 lb and 6'3", am I too skinny? Is my face just fucked? I've been working hard and my goal is 130, but I feel like I'm already in the unhealthy zone. Can I still lose weight and still be healthy?
if your face is still chubby either
>grow up because you are 18
>stop eating so much sodium and drink more water
>learn facial posturing (slightly lower jaw and press chin out slightly, suck cheeks on to teeth but not inbetween them
if you are 6'3 and 140 don't lose anymore weight unless u counter it with muscle gain
yeah I am 18, and I will cut out more sodium. Already trying to drink a gallon a day. Will look up facial posturing. Thanks f.am, but I think I will still and aim for atleast 135. Will try to bulk though.
What are you favorite cottage cheese recipes/mixes?
Why are my squats so weak? Is it because I'm fat? Does it greatly influence how strong my squats are?
I deadlift 90kg (200-something lbs for americunts) with perfect form, yet I can BARELY do 40 kg squats. Barely, no ass to grass. I just barely do them, but usually I go 30 kg for a perfect, full squat.
I feel like my technique is somewhat not good because I can feel the heavy strain on my quads and can't "activate" my glutes so to speak.
ass for motivation to give me advice how can I do better squats
wait, what? you cant squat 40kg = 88lb?
i dont think any adult who is able to walk and move around properly should have problem squatting atleast 135lb.
perhaps its not because of technique or strength. you might be lacking the most basic mobility
Why can't I lose weight /fit/ ?
>inb4 read the sticky
I read it and I lift 5 times a week, count calories and even do cardio but no changes
Why do they all look like they're 100 years old or have facial deformities? Is it male hormones or the tanning that fucks their skin like that?
Fuck man theyre hideous
The one on the left looks like a WoW troll female
Middle has a dented forhead and is all around fuck ugly
Mirin right t.bh lads she is more jacked than any of us can ever claim to be but she paid for it with the granny face wrinkles
I cant beat my dick to this
>that guy that walks around the gym in a weird zombie trance between sets
>friend wants to get ripped to get ladies
>start him on GOMAD + SS
How can I build a strength routine for a beginner that won't involve squats or heavy deadlifts? Should I just be doing everything from SS or 5x5 minus squats?
Oh, and not doing squats or heavy deadlifts isn't my voluntary decision.
Have some test boosters in advance.
Hey guys, I am thinking of changing some ways in how I perform 531.
My 1RMs are:
High Bar Squat with belt 275
Military Press 125
Bent Row 205
So I was thinking of doing the bent over Row with a mixed Grip (like a Deadlift) to help my Grip and allow me to progress longer.
Also, I'm thinking of dedicating 3 months out of the year to running only (with no lifting, running 2times a day) I call it the hybrid method
Can I get an opinion on these things, thanks!
You shouldn't be performing 5/3/1. it is advanced and you are not. You are better off doing a different program in which you could progress faster.
Rowing with a mixed is stupid and will lead to muscle imbalances. btw you probably arent rowing with proper form if your rows are that high compared to your bench.
Your hybrid method is a great way to throw away your gains. I dont know why on earth you would ever do that.
>probably a troll thread but w/e
Have some fresh OC.
Can someone describe the proper way to spot someone who is squatting?
Cause I think I may have just been molested. Pic related, I even have it on video.
>not struggling at all
>suddenly halfway through this short black dude comes up behind me
>i tell him i dont need a squat but he doesnt hear me (?)
>he puts his hands along my flank
>squats with me so there...

Do you prefer heavy and short distance or lighter and long distance?
What is your PR?
Why is it the most fun lift?
