the daily recommended intake of potassium for an adult is 4700mg Is anyone here getting that from their diet?
thats 10 bananas a day or 10 potatoes
It's basically impossible without supplementation. I drink glass of water with 1/2 teaspoon of LiteSalt twice per day (it's half sodium, half potassium), add pure sea salt to my food, and take a magnesium supp at night to keep me electrolytes optimum.

>10 nanners/taters a day
>on a cut
literally how
>eating more than 2 eggs a week rises your blood cholesterol
Is this a meme?
It might raise your cholesterol, but the consensus is that it's your ratio of LDL/HDL cholesterol that actually matters. The effect of dietary cholesterol on vascular health is controversial.
Regardless, I eat about 20-30 eggs a week with the yolks.
>>36118172
Your body metabolizes 7-8 more cholesterol daily than what a normal cholesterol consumption would do. You could eat 12 eggs a day and still be the normal cholesterol range.
Realistically speaking you should be drinking a dozen raw eggs a day & spackling your toilet with premium quality diarrhea.
>tfw a week into keto
holy shit. I was blind, but now I see. I feel slightly high all the time, I have insane mental clarity and my depression and anxiety is almost completely gone.
I guess it really is a cult.

it's real though
I've been deadlifting pretty consistently for the last 6 months or so, 1-2 times each week.
I've had problems hurting my back a couple times before, diagnosed bulged disk. in the last six months I think I've triggered this issue 2 times. its basically like an on off switch to back pain that takes a couple days to a week to subside completely. Most recently I did this last week so its time I started videoing myself to fix the issue.
For the past month I've been working at 365lb for about 4-6 reps depending on the day.
Last week I warmed up and...

Is it true that some people on here can't run even 3 miles (5k)
Don't you feel ashamed?
ashamed I don't do one of the most damaging exercises to your joints? next you're gonna try to shame me for not squatting.
>decide to run
>first day, half a mile
>second day, one mile
>third day, immediate shin splints
Fucking hell, and now I'm afraid to even try again. It's been like 4 days and my legs start hurting whenever I have to powerwalk, jog for the bus, etc.
Hey /fit/, Im stuck on this. Is beer good for bulking, or will it just make me fat? is it ok as long as i make sure it fits in my carb marcos?
Beer is bread in a bottle. One of the least nutritious foods out there. And basically catabolic.
>>36115129
>is beer good for bulking
>good for bulking
>bulking
well sure, I wouldn't drink more than one day a week because it'll start to drag on your gains but if you're not on a cut wtf do you care about your ability to see the individual striations of ye olde abdominal wall?
>>36115129
Alcohol is catabolic

This is.

Mainly what I eat for every meal is chicken & rice... it's starting to get a little boring so I was wondering what you guys do to keep chicken & rice fresh, naw mean?
Try to cook with soy sauce
>rice

Throughout my entire life, I've maintained a level of fat lending itself to the skinny fat body type. Of course after two years of not being a couch potato, I've got some muscle under that, and I recently discovered that I have the beginnings of abs under the fat. I'd like to reveal them.
But I've never lost weight before, and I don't know what it feels like when you're doing it right and being in a caloric deficit. Does it feel like hunger pains, or is it more subtle than that? Should I be feeling empty throughout the day, or only when I...

Quit now.
February without smoking so far after 10 years of 10+ a day smoking. Not even craving it anymore.
I quit smoking around December last year after smoking consistently daily for about a year and a half. not really sure if thats long enough for the dependency to even settle in but it wasn't hard at all to quit desu

I was working on bulking awhile back but it got really expensive. Any thoughts on bulking on a budget?
>>36107882
Depends on where you live and what is cheap. Chicken breast, Extra lean ground chicken and beef, and pork loin chops are usually cheap everywhere. Sometimes fish is cheap (especially when frozen). Eggs are dirt cheap and a bulking staple.
What country are you from OP?
What is your budget for food a week?
>>36107882
US, I try to keep it around 75/week. When I was actively trying it was over 100/week.
So, let's make a /fit/ belief, everyone posts one rule until we reach 100 and that will be the fundament to our bible.
1.At the end of the day, gainz are all that matters.
2. Kill yourself
2. Thou shalt not squat in the curl rack
3.Flexibility refers to your ability to flex, and therefore how much you can curl.
Intermittent fasting - meme diet or is there something to it? I've never experimented with it, though during my depressed spells I've gone over a day or two without eating.
There is not shortcut in this, m8.
I do it and it's effective. I don't really care about the supposed broscience gains, but it's much easier to stay under 2000 calories if you're only eating in an 8 hour span.
Its not a meme but its not sustainable
Supposedly fasting spikes hgh wich is very beneficial
