Fuck you and your memes. I'm joining a Crossfit club and becoming a beast. 5 rep compound lifts are fine and all but I want to transcend beyond just a gym rat and become an elite athlete. I'd rather bust my ass in a crazy ass workout with snatches, pullups and sprints all supersetted than do 5 reps, walk to the fountain, do another 5 reps, rest for 3 minutes, and so on.

This is a meme. I've met plenty of marines in shit shape. But, when you're on active duty, all you have to do is lift, sleep, shit, and eat between your patrols. That's what I've heard, and that's why you see so many in above-average or better shape.

I'm in OK shape, but haven't been hitting the gym like I'm supposed to in quite a while. I want to get back into regular shape but don't really have a good plan to doing so.

I am a 5'5 129lb girl, 27 years old, walk daily. eat 1,200cal daily. I'm getting thinner, but all my fat seems to be residing in my hips and stomach . Do I continue cardio or at this point would i begin to see definition if I work my stomach muscles?

And to keep this fitness oriented did your height give you any impairments to lifting or did it help you out?

I hit 5'8 at age 14 and stayed that height until I was 20 and did a cycle of peptides, I then grew 2 inches in as many months. Had some nasty growing pains in my shins and upper arms, couldn't even workout it was that bad.
