How do I gain discipline /fit/?
I always felt it has a catch-22 thing going on.
discipline isnt something you can just gain, its something you have. When you finally drop your controller to go to the gym. Thats when you have discipline.
Best way to realize you need discipline is to look at what you are doing and what you should be doing
just imagine dying as a HKV if you dont eat and lift perfect
done

I'm gonna be straight. You need to just do the shit you need to do. But, at least you're yearning for the correct thing. Motivation is weak, it wanes and won't ever last as long as your goals.
Discipline is plain and simple. Whatever it is, you just do it. It's as simple as knowing what needs to be done and following through. If you know you need to hit the gym or get up and run, you do it. If you need to skip the free bagels in the break room or toss the rest of your sub to make your diet...

Pre-med student here. I'm trying to cut but my class schedule doesn't give me time to go to the gym. Is there a good alternative free body workout program? I didn't see anything about that in the sticky.
Stats if you need it:
5'8 1/2"
175 lbs
~19.5% BF
>>36300677
Stop making excuses, you can find time for 3 one hour training sessions a week.
>>36300677
Also I doubt you're below 20% if you've never lifted
>>36300696
But all of my classes have labs and homework is a motherfucker after that. If I went to the gym, I would only be getting around 4 hours of sleep and that isn't good for either classes or gains.
Should I cut or bulk?

I am supposed to be taking a blood test for my testosterone levels, the doctor wants me to it at 9am but I don't wake up till about noon.
I understand his reasoning is that it is at peak "in the morning" but does it matter when your morning is? can I just go do it at the time I personally wake up?
pic unrelated
Normal people wake up around 9am
>>36300469
You lazy fuck, listen to your doctor
If you don't have the desire to wake up like you're not 17 anymore then you don't have the testosterone anyway.
Test = desire.
Yo /fit/
I'm looking into buying an acitivity tracker but don't know what to purchase. I'm kinda inbetween the Fitbit Charge hr and ASUS Vivowatch. Is any one of them better or is it just a choice.
Or... Maybe you have another suggestion in the same price range. Having a display and a heart rate monitor is a must.
>>36300405
HR is pretty cash, helps me keep track of cardio and lower my heart rate. Sleep tracking data is GOAT for improving recovery time. This is me... >>36290338
i have a fitbit charge and i really like it. cant say much about the others out there though
>>36300449
It's not just for workout I will use it though. Want to track pretty much everything in my daily routines.
I'll eat broccoli and only broccoli for 3 days to clean my body from toxins, you think it's good idea? some youtube bodybuilder recommends it, so why not?
also: http://www.cbsnews.com/news/broccoli-compound-shows-promise-for-treating-autism/
if that youtube guy recommends it then it must be good. go for it
>>36300390
Dunno mang but I got 11 days to lose 3kg so I'm getting at least 70% of my calories from broccoli/spinach
Shit fucking sucks but I got an amateur boxing match on the 19th and I know I'm gonna be coming in heavy. I know I won't lose the 3kg in that space of time but I'm trying to lose as much as possible. Based Broccoli keeps me feeling full for hours if I have huge portions of it in one sitting.
>>36300390
What the fuck are toxins
As the title states.

The steel shutters anchored in the tall, rectangular windows widened to let in slanting rays from the morning sun.
Brother Mark must have polished and oiled them recently, thought Cruthis, the head priest of the Iron Temple. The shutters opened without a sound.
A trainee scurried out of Father Cruthis’ way when he saw him walking down the main hall to the front door. As he hurried his feet got tangled up in his new smock causing him to fall and drop the books he was carrying.
“Don’t worry, son,” said Father Cruthis as he picked up a book and handed it to the boy. “The gown will grow on you. But don’t rush. What do we say?”
“Uh,” he started nervously. “Slow is smooth, smooth is fast?”
“Sure! That’ll work,” said Cruthis, laughing. “Be on your way.”
The boy nodded awkwardly and rushed away anyway, almost tripping a second time. Cruthis chuckled.
It was Cruthis’ singular pleasure to open the front doors to the temple every day. First a brother would open the shades in the main hall allowing for a quiet, meditative time for the brothers. Then steak, porkchops, eggs, and other savories would be served for a hearty breakfast. And although Cruthis loved the quiet, cool morning sunlight, and the fellowship at the breakfast table with brothers and sons, it was throwing open the doors to let the fresh air rush into the temple and greet morning pilgrims and devotees that blessed Cruthis’ heart most. And it was his privilege every day. But, today was an especially unique day. Although the Iron Temple was not adorned for the occasion, today was the tercentennial anniversary of its founding by Father Kilog of Toer.
Father Kilog had been a mountainous man; that is why his nickname had been “Monk Mountain.” But more than a large man, he was a highly disciplined ascetic, a visionary, and a leader. He had single-handedly increased the lifespan of the kingdoms by decades with his gospel of weightlifting and balanced diet.
>>36300026
He had personally collected all the scrap metal necessary to smelt the entire Iron Temple – and convinced the Emperor, may his strength never fade, to finance its erection! Cruthis remembered his favorite saying of Father Kilog’s, recorded faithfully by the temples’ scribes for centuries, “Not every man is a genius. But any man can be a genius of hard work.” Cruthis strived toward that genius.
Because the entirety of the temple was steel it grew very hot during these long summer days. Scoffers would...

Mostly I just wear fitted t-shirts. Most other shirts (polos, dress shirts, flannel) that aren't garbage makes you look good if you have a good body regardless
In terms of pants, idk I mostly wear jeans that are probably too small for me and shorts that are just a little bit too short
