Like, am I supposed to believe that its even possible to calculate your daily calories precise enough to go just above them, constantly risking undereating. With cutting its extremely simple to do, since burning fat is a much faster process than muscle gain. You weigh yourself daily and seen if a week results in approximately pound of lost weight, you're good, otherwise eat less or more - bam, done. When it comes to being an overall superior lift which one do you guys think is better?
My opinion is this. Yes, there are many people that do chest to simply bench press more weight and the best way to do that is flat bench itself. But from a bodybuilding standpoint the incline press and db incline will shine. I have gotten my best mass gains in chest, delts, and tris when i was doing Incline as my primary chest exercise.
So lets hear what you guys think because most of the people i have talked to in the gym disagree with me.
Incline bench all day for me. It's more challenging than flat, and my shoulders (problem area for me) have improved a lot since switching.
Can confirm. Still doing both, but incline has helped me a lot. Cannot say it is superior, though, since I have no real evidence.
It's just very useful.
I've read in a couple magazines recently that hitting incline hard instead of flat bench will result in a more "square" shape to the chest (from the building of the upper chest muscle). In fact, there is a quote from a bodybuilding.com article below:
"The solution to droopy pecs is simple but radical: never do anything on a flat or decline bench again."

I'm experimenting with eating only fruit for breakfast. Is this a bad idea? I used to eat corn flakes and milk every morning but I wanted to cut dairy from my diet. This morning, for example, I ate one large apple, one banana and two clementines. What are the effects of this? I notice fruit are high in sugar and don't really fill you up for long after. Should I add whole wheat bread or something else for a slower-burning carb? Will eating only fruit in the morning spike my insulin? Other ideas: ham, smoked salmon or last night's leftovers for protein.
