Focus on hitting a protein goal, 1.3-1.75 grams per kilogram of body mass to achieve positive nitrogen balance, and don't forget to get a good amount of fats in, specifically unsaturated or monounsaturated. Yes when it comes down to it calories in < calories out is the most important factor but making sure to have good macros is important to supporting good body composition. Other than that my only recommendation is focus on more low intensity cardio rather than shorter high intensity sessions
Hey /f/ I weigh 280pds and I'm 5'8 I've began a diet of 1300 calories also started intermittent fasting , and I've started drinking only water I've also began a 5 mile a day run/jog/walk which takes me around 1:30 to finish and some light weight training with a 30 pound dumb bell. Ive been at it for 6 days now and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips or advice anything extra I can do? And any extra ways to be motivated

How long before a protein shake goes bad?
Would it be okay if I made my protein shake right before going to the gym, put the shake in a bag and drank it after my workout, so about 2 hours after I've made it?
2 hours? You're fine. I've let protein shakes sit out all day and I didn't die from them. They were warm but they still had all the protein.
Make that shit about an hour early and throw it in the freezer. It'll be golden by the time you finish your workout.

False. Aspartame contains calories, they report it as 0 because USDA allows you to round down anything under 5 calories. You'd have to drink a fuck ton to rack up any significant amount of calories though. The bigger concern is people spraying their PAM spray for 30+ seconds, thinking its still "0 cal".
Also the fact you're drinking something with a PH of 2 that is used as an industrial solvent/cleaner. Calories or not, you're still destroying your insides.
There's an ongoing debate on whether or not the artificial sweeteners used in these kinds of diet drinks can be detrimental to your long term health but that hasn't been definitely proven one way or another yet
