22, skinnyfat, and quite literally live 45 seconds walking from a gym. However vidya, terrible eating habits and lack of motivation prevent me from going to said gym.
I keep thinking about doing it, constantly telling myself "I'll start going (insert day here), but I never do. How do you guys do it? How do you work up the motivation to start getting in shape and maintain that motivation?
i never managed to work up motivation for something. i just stpped whatever i was doing and went to do that one thing I'm avoiding.
by "getting motivated" you are just adding extra step to it all
Just go dude. You're getting older and the later you start the more you'll regret starting so late
Me? Age 21, will be 22 at end of March. I started at 19 and I look great now but I would give anything to have started in high school during the swing of puberty
If you do it enough it will become habit and you won't see it as something you "have to do". It's just part of my routine now, same as brushing my teeth and going to work.
Also its probably the only thing that keeps me from wanting to kill myself so that helps.

How can she do minimal work yet still look amazing?
>be good at something due to a combination of experience, knowledge, good genetics, good habits and access to chemical assistance
>decide to monetize the skill-set.
This is literally every single successful person.
A while ago on /fit/ there was a thread made by twins who just started lifting together and were doing an experiment, one did SS, the other did a split. Has there been continued tracking of their reported progress?
How to increase my bench press?
Skinny fat help. Should i bulk or cut first?
Left is bad posture and lack of muscle.
If you're skinnyfat, you have to bulk first. Trying to cut to spooky skeleton mode will result in you being too weak and malnourished to make gains.
This is close to what I look like. On phone, latest pics too big for upload. I've gotten more gains since the, been 1 month since then. Should I keep cutting or bulk? I'm making slow progress on lifts and weights slowly dropping like it should but not very noticeably.
Do you do drugs? Do you drink alcohol? Do you VAPE? If so, does it affect your gains?
I've been working out for 3 months and haven't had a drink since for fear it'll ruin progress.
i used to have at least three drinks a day, but when i started lifting i stopped entirely. i find it kills my motivation and makes me crave nasty food, which will leave me feeling like shit for days.
I do mushrooms or acid very rarely and they do not affect gains.
Alcohol will affect gains if you do it too frequently. Personally, I don't drink at all.
Vaping is literally the most pleb thing you can do.
>5 plate deadlift
Why did you lie to me /fit/
>he thought getting swole would get him a gf
try this, maybe it will attract a gf
ps: don't get a gf, it will be good for about 11 months, then it will go shit, specialy if its your first gf, wait until you're more mature and find a girl that will deal with your shit
Huge weights low reps like mentzer or low weights and high reps like arnold?
Low reps for natty.
Pump chasing for roids.
The best is to do your first two sets at 4-6 rep to get a strength response, then back down to 10 reps for a set or two (auto regulation, motherfucker) for higher training volume (and thus more hypertrophy)
You should really focus on strength progression before you worry about growth.
The man who benches 225 x 10 will alway have a bigger chest than the guy who starts doing 155x10, and can never increase the weight because his high reps train...

with the whole term "squatz and oatz" does that mean just porridge or is there other ways to have oats?
google is your friend on this, but i'm guessing you're asking on /fit/ because you crave human connection so here you go:
>dry with yogurt
>blend with water and a couple scoops for oatshake
>blend with eggs, banana, and cottage cheese for oat pancakes
>put half the water you would normally put in for oats, add yogurt (if plain yogurt add some berries or jam or something for taste) and throw that...

ITT: things you learned from years of lifting
>pre-workout mixes are generally a waste
>do some cardio even if losing weight isn't your objective
>machines don't do anything
>protein requirements are massively overtstated by an industry shilling workout supplements to gullible DYELs
>lifting doesn't make you bigger so much as it makes you feel better about yourself - the biggest gains are psychological.
Does this look infected?. A dolly I was pushing 2 weeks ago slipped and crashed into my shin. A couple days ago i started peeling the scab.
Any nutritionist /fit/izens on right now?
I think nutrition is very interesting, and I'm considering it as a career.
Do you like your job?
What's the industry like?
Any advice for someone interested in entering the field?
I've always been interested in the idea that you could eat to help treat and prevent disease, growing up with obese, diabetic parents and a skin and bone auto-immune sibling.
We have a B.Sc in nutrition and health working at my hospital. She feeds people who can't eat themselves, prepares special snacks/meals for the patients, and calculates their total energy needs and protein needs. Every once in a while she teach the nurses about a subject. From my perspective it looks like a boring ass job.
Scooby knows how to pick up girls even if he's gay lol.
