How do you fit gym time in your schedule?

My grip gives in first when doing deadlift, especially when doing low weight high reps, and I'd rather strengthen it and keep doing overhand grip than switch to mixed grip.
Is there ONE isolation kind of exercise that I can start doing and progress on to help with that?
I do U/L split and I can't fit any more than that in my workouts.
What's a usual progression like on farmer's? Do I start with the heaviest weight right away and try to increase my steps every time, or start intermediate and move up in weight after I reach X amount of steps?
If you're serious about increasing your deadlift it'll be impossible to keep your grip up enough. Just use double overhand until too heavy and switch to mix grip then.
I use mix grip for all my heavy sets. I still can pull 405+ with double overhand. But it's nearly impossible to hold onto 600.
You could always try doing hook grip. I tried but don't feel like always taping my thumbs and having it hurt. I worked up to 500 easily with hook grip but it also felt like my thumb was about to be permanently injured

Is this exercise safe to do if you have had a labrum repair surgery for instability before?
I'm considering adding it to my routine on both A and B workouts since I figure a light weight for 3x12 should help strengthen my shit up. But I'm worried about it fucking my shit up instead
But the thing I don't get is what's right or what isn't.
If my shoulder feels weird, I'd probably think that maybe my muscles/tendons are just weak still from the surgery, so if i keep working at it it'll fix itself.
but what if in actuality i'm fucking my shit up? You know what I mean?

it turns it more into a squat/deadlift hybrid - so it allows you to use your quads more.
there's no real reason to do them if you're squatting and deadlifting. its probably useful if you don't have a squat rack
