Hi im new here and i just got through the sticky and i have one big question:
When should we drink water in relation to eating meals?
Before meal? How long before then?
or maybe after meal? How much should i wait before drinking.
Im trying to lose some weight so i think good digestion is very important for me.
really m8? WHEN TO DRINK FUCKING WATER?
fuck you. and fuck everyone who answers you "seriously".
Every waking second!!!!
If you're not drinking water at any one time you're doing it wrong, actually fuck it.
You should be drinking water 24/7, teach yourself to drink water in your sleep, only that way will you ever truly make it.
>Adding assistance work to Stronglifts 5×5?
I recently started Stronglifts 5×5 as a novice. My goal is to add mass by getting stronger. I do not wish to do any isolation exercises, because hypertrophy is not for me. My plan is to move over to 3×5 ones my lift stall. I've considered adding assistance work like dips and pull-ups, but don't know when or if at all.
My concern about assistance work is the argument that more is not necessary better, because it might affect my lifts. Although I know that dips and pull-ups are...

If strength is your first priority and you do not care about your looks, don't do assistance work.
Just think about it, why would they benefit you, if you are lifting much smaller weight in comparison anyways? You may get stronger on said exercises, but I doubt there will be any significant strength gains, on you other lifts.
This is ny program, slightly modified stronglifts 5x5.
I SPENT MY WEEKS GROCERY MONEY ON HEARTHSTONE CARDS AND THEN I MADE THJS TERRIBLE THREAD. HOW FUCKING RETARDED DO YOU HAVE TO BE? WHY AM I THIS STUPID. NOT GOING TO MAKE IT WHAT THE FUCK
My Pre-workout doesn't seem to work for me anymore. I need that extra boost.
Wat do? Pic unrelated.
I don't know where to buy.
>tfw lost 2 kg in a month of lifting without trying to
>tfw lost 2 more in half a month after decided to just cut now and get it over with
Is it really this easy? I eat 2200 to 2400 calories a day.
Tell me why I shouldn’t do this as a beginner (going to failure in the last set of all exercises)
>people take lifting advice from some dyel-looking maghrebi
Is he natty?
I've not been here for like two years now.
Besides my own gainz, have I missed anything? Is TinyTrip and shit still around?
WELCOME TO THE /FIT/ OF TOMMOROW
>tinytrip, mong and most of the old tripfaggots are gone or unactive
>/plg/ and some other generals now worship a mentally retarded avatarfagging weeaboo crossdresser
>/r9k/ users hoping for a second chance migrated here and trashed what was left of the old /fit/ culture - women are whores threads are everywhere and it's been confirmed that some people jerk off to the manlet threads
How do white girls treat you since you started lifting and made gains?
determined to start toning myself and stop making the /fa/ excuse of not needing gains. Today I'll be hitting the gym for the first time. I'm 6'1 and 160 lbs, so I'd like a workout routine that would transform me into pic related.
Don't worry manlets, one in three girls finds you "adorable" :^)
Hi /fit/, what do you think about my routine. I just started working out about a month ago and this is what I've got figured out. Anything I'm doing wrong or I should add? Thanks in advance guys :)
Yesterday, I was doing some push-ups and by the 90th or so, I got this super intense headache like I almost felt that I was going to faint, Do any of you have an explanation for that ? And what can I do to get rid of it ?
I've been lifting for almost two months now (just starting) and yeah I read it has something to do with breathing, but I don't know how it is that you "breathe" properly while doing pushups.
How many of you have tried Smovlov jr? My bench is pretty pathetic compared to my squat and deadlift.
While you were doing it how much did your bench go up?
What accessory work did you do?
Did you put on any size in your chest/shoulders/arms?
Just for reference, I compete in powerlifting
I ran it when my bench was about where yours was and I'd plateaued there for a while. Definitely worked, gained 20 pounds on my bench in 3 weeks.
I wouldn't do much accessory work, all I did were a few sets of ten on hammer curls and face pulls to help with the shoulders elbows.
Also, smolov jr. is brutal, you will hate it after the first week, your recovery needs to be on point and you'll still hurt all the time, so it should really be a last option.
