anyone use something like this? got a pretentious blender recently, seems like a good way to get fruit and veg for lazy bastards like me. share recipes, i guess.

Find some way free to get a scan of or the book 'Convict Conditioning'
It's a program that uses no equipment and actually has a progression to follow. bodyweight exercises are harder to program because you just can't add weight to a bar but imo the book does a good job.

I am too, depressed but it's not so bad, lifting gives me something to look forward since I'm still fairly weak
Knowing that some day I will lift two plates fills me with determination

I get one real full cheat meal a month (pizza, usually) and each weekend one large but still healthful meal - maybe just larger portions or a little extra prep to make something special/different.
When you take a rest day do you
A: completely avoid the gym and relax
B: do low intensity work on your weak spots e.g go train arms and do cardio
I feel like I'm wasting my time only lifting 3 time a week

Because you spend months eating more calories than your body requires and when you get bigger you will crave even more food to maintain the surplus you are used too. Congratulations you are now a fatty with a weight problem.
