New workout songs that get you hyped for the next life.
What's your new hype song?
Slaughter to Prevail - Hell
The name makes it sounds as if it were for edgy teens, but it is by far one of the heaviest tunes I've ever listened to.
Full natty brah? Cringe fit thread pls
I'm still killing myself this Easter. No livestream, sorry guys. Take care of yourselves.
Went to a whore house and banged a prostitute.
How fucked am I when it comes to getting AIDS or an STD or something I feel bad man
Assuming that you raw-dogged it, or you wouldn't be asking. You'll probably be fine. Chances of contracting HIV from a single sexual encounter, even with an infected prostitute, are low. If you really lost the lottery then life is livable nowadays HIV+, with the antiviral cocktails and everything. Major downsides would be that you have to take like 15 different pills every day forever, and you'll never get to eat grapefruit again.
Will going to a real gym and using the machines and all that fancy shit improve my results?
Pic related is what I use to lift.
Pic related is what results I've got using that shit for the last 3 years.
My nutrition is not perfect, sometimes it's a struggle for me to eat consistently well because I am so damn sick and tired of protein-rich foods, really sick of them.
I'd say 60% of days I'll get 150-200g protein, but the other 40% ill get maybe 100-130g or so. (this is with protein powder as well btw)
sooo, what do stomach vacuums do?
and with that i mean what will change if i start doing them?
i dont see my abs getting bigger from them.
Anyone did this program?
Yep. Works, just do a bit more mobility as prescribed. Had a bit sore ellbows because I was not used to the triceps isolation but still, the program is good hybrid for athletes imo
ITT: Gym stories that actually happened.
>new DYEL twig beta manlet in the gym lifting
>doing typical pointless exercises
>his headphones fall off during on his 7th bicep isolation exercise
>can hear what he is listening to
>The Dark Knight Rises (Main Theme)
I want to go to the gym but i don't wanna get harassed for being a skelly with glasses
I found there is two type routines for beginner 3-5x5 (Starting Strength, Stronglifts, ICF, Reg Park etc.) and 3x10 (Kilgore's FIT, Lyle McDonald's Beginner Program). What is better for skinny beginner like me? I know everyone at fit faps to Ripp's SS, but FIT program was written by Kilgore and he is co author of Starting Strength so he probably knows his stuff and can't suggest shit program to beginners.
It makes fuck-all difference. The principles behind the programming matter more than the exact set and rep numbers, and even that matters less than you putting in the hard yards.
What gear is essential? What is the best plan for getting into it quick?
Move your left leg first, then your right, here's where it gets tricky. Don't move ur right again, do the left leg, keep doin this program I'm designing for you and you should be running like a real human bean in no time. Take the survey, helps a lot.
Hey /fit/ I need to get sixpack abs before summer. What are some exercises I can do? I already do 100 sit ups a day.
I enjoy dead lifting. I feel great ripping that weight off the ground but my obliques have become too developed and I have no taper. I feel like dropping deadlifts is the best thing to do. I can do so many other lifts to work my back and traps and I can work hamstrings with leg curls after I squat. What should I do? I love deadlifts but I want to be happy with my body
I doubt it's really a problem.
First of all, Bret Contreras has debunked the myth that deadlifts make your waist wide.
Secondly, most male fitness models train the crap out of their obliques with direct exercises that hit them way harder than any amount of deadlifting ever will. You don't see these guys having their "aesthetics ruined".
I think there's 3 things going on here if you think you're getting too wide:
You're not quite as lean as you think you are.
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Yes I need to get leaner but a problem I have is that I used to box and so for years I trained my obliques to make them as strong as possible, because of this I have a thick waist and deadlifts are just helping maintain that. The other problem I have and I think this is more important than posing; my shoulders aren't as wide as I want them. If you have narrow shoulders you need a very narrow waist to create a good taper and dropping deadlifts and doing more OHP can help
I'm thinking of learning a Martial Arts Technique, what do you guys recommend?
Does creatine really raise DHT levels? Doesn't that shit cause balding?
I might be thinning a bit in the front, but I like creatine because I'm weak
>Results: After 7 days of creatine loading, or a further 14 days of creatine maintenance dose, serum T levels did not change. However, levels of DHT increased by 56% after 7 days of creatine loading and remained 40% above baseline after 14 days maintenance (P < 0.001). The ratio of DHT:T also increased by 36% after 7 days creatine supplementation and remained elevated by 22% after the maintenance dose (P < 0.01).
There's your answer.
