Is Muscle Milk ever okay to have pre or post work out? I know mixing your own is superior but what makes muscle milk inferior?

That smug feel when you never train arms directly and yet your arms are bigger than all the dyels' who do 6-7 variations of curls as soon as they step inside the gym.
I tend to do hammer curls or regular at the end of my chest or back days, just because, it's a vanity lift so what.
However. My gym has at least 6 different curl bros.

I've been lifting for 3 years pretty seriously and I've come to the conclusion it's dumb not to do arms. I've been hitting tris and bis pretty hard for the past month and gains are incredible. I wish I could make gains like this on my calves. Barbell curls, seated incline curls, skull crushers and overhead tri extensions are the shit

Why aren't Farmer's Walk up there in the pantheon with squats, deadlifts, bench press, overhead press in terms of being a necessary lift?
They are fucking amazing, the feeling you get as your grip weakens, you force them closed as you tell yourself "just ten more steps" and when you make those you go another ten.
And when you do drop the weight your shoulders and forearms on fire, your legs tight, palms are searing in pain and it takes every part of me to resist yelling out some short of primal scream.

Do you guys carb load prior going to a festival/Vegas/beach party/whatever? If so, how has it worked for you and what have you found to be most effective?
Are these snake oil, or these things will actually stop my hands from opening and dropping the bar during DLs. I am on a point where I can DL more than 2 times my own weight but my grip is weak.
They work, but they have their limits.
You'll want to add in grip work if you're going to use straps for your deadlifting, or the disparity will tend to get worse - in extreme cases you get guys who fail because their grip goes even with straps.
How can I tell if I have good genetics?
I've seen people say they have great/bad shoulders or a bad waist. How can I tell if mine are shit or decent?
