Personally I use steroids because they help me achieve my goals faster. I'm a doctor and confident that I know how to use them safely. My goals may eventually include a physique that is unobtainable naturally but for now I simply want to progress as quickly as I can, and I know there is no risk from using this medication. A simple testosterone cycle is very benign if you are educated and disciplined. Can you honestly give me a single valid reason why I shouldn't?

/fit/, I just did the best thing for my body I've ever done. My hearing has been super shitty the past 3 or 4 years but I figured it was just because I was getting old (30). Finally made an appointment and it turns up I had about an inch of earwax 'plugs' compressed in my ears from swimming in the ocean so frequently and wearing ear buds. They used a catheter to irrigate and remove the wax plugs (it seriously filled a small dish) and now I can hear better than I have in years! Even better, my sense of balance and 'awareness' is much better now.

What do you think about this thing call detox diet?
Every now and then i see people boosting their weight-loss with a so called 28-days (or what ever lenght) detox diet. There are several equipments to it, spirulina smoothies, capsels, powders and all that. It seems the idea is to cleanse your inner organs and somehow to speed up the metabloism (??), reduce swolleness and speed up losing weight.
Have you tried these? Does this actually work?

Caffeine is the only thing about coffee that may be harmful.
Coffee consumption in general is correlated with good health outcomes. This doesn't necessarily mean it's "good for you", but based on all the evidence we have it's not harmful.
That being said, caffeine can have negative effects on individuals like anxiety and insomnia, depending on the individual and when/how much is consumed. If coffee makes you feel worse or gives you a crash, don't drink it. Otherwise,...

Coffee contains caffeine which is a stimulant which boosts your metabolism and makes you temporarily more alert.
It contains very few calories by itself, and is used to fight hunger like water, and as a preform out drink by some.
That being said adding sugar and creamer isn't good if you don't need it. Black coffee is an acquired taste much like beer, or you could switch to sweet 'n low and half and half.

I've posted in other boards and gotten no good advice. Female, 5'4, 155 pounds. Would like to ideally lose 45 and get down to 110.
I keep going to a calorie load of 1200 for a couple of weeks. Combined with lifting and cardio, running about 20 miles a week. I lose 5 pounds, go crazy, and start eating like shit for several days, gaining all of it back. Recommendations? Also, have a picture of a girl for your trouble.

It's SUGAR, specifically, that's bad.
Fruit contains an "acceptable" amount of it. But candy, soda, etc contains so much that you will become literally addicted to it, crave more, eat more, and so on until you become fat. And as with any addiction, your mind will invent all sorts of justifications for your behavior (e.g. HAES, muh genetics, etc.)
