what are you supposed to do between sets?
What the fuck am I supposed to eat to get enough calories to get gains, while preventing acne?
Cant eat oatmeal (even with water)
cant eat dairy
cant eat eggs
cant eat carbs pretty much (not just high glycemic index but any sources of gluten are bad for acne)
cant eat peanuts
cant eat shit
wtf!! Im eating a lot of fruit and vegitables, I had cabbage and a sliced potato with chopped carrots, celery and onion cooked in a ceramic pan with only water in the bottom, no oil. Im only at 1400 calories today and Im eating my ass off and terrified of eating too much iodine (potatoes) and carbs. and nuts. help plz

maybe look up brian turner on youtube, he had terrible acne and cleared it up partially with his diet. he lifts weights too, but eats vegan. maybe some of the shit he eats can help you out. he's a big dude and eats over 4k kcal during his bulk
Olive oil isnt bad? I know red meat is linked with acne so I've only been eating chicken. Sweet potatoes are a good idea, beans as well. Rice though I'm a little wary of.

So I'm gonna start a job laboring soon in construction, anyway I aint /fit/ at all, in fact I'm a very hungry Skellington, so i'm looking forward to this; I've got an opportunity get paid to do some nice physical labour and get fit in the process. Basically, does /fit/ have any tips for surviving the job and maximising any possible physical gains so I can unlock construction worker body mode.
Drink lots of water and stay hydrated
Get a good night's sleep every night
Eat well and make sure you're getting an adequate supply of cals. I was eating somewhere from 3 to 4 k calories or more just to maintain my weight when doing hard labour
Trying to bulk up arms. On Friday I drank a ton of Muscle Milk and worked out. I went on a giant hike yesterday and climbed trees; the rest of my body is good. But my arms are dead. Should I push through the pain and drink more Muscle Milk and workout today or wait until tomorrow?
how do you get past plateaus?
i eat enough and my form is good. but i'm stalling. right now i do 3x10 OHP and bench, and can't get past 100lb OHP or 1pl8 bench.
i've tried doing negatives with OHP by doing push presses, but it hasn't helped too much.
ok so just to keep numbers simple lets say you max plateau at 200lbs
do 135 5 times warm up. then to 2 reps of 155 ,2 reps of 165, 2 reps of 175, 2 reps of 195
do a 3 day a week workout like this.
