Hey guys
One of my 5 meter HDMI cable connectors broke like pic related and I'm unsure if I should just throw it away or keep it for something else. What could be done with it? HDMI cables have 19 internal wires, if I'm not mistaken.
A new cable is cheaper than attempting to repair it.

Strip it and sell the copper. Probably not worth the trouble though.
It would be possible but not worth it unless you cannot replace due to location.
Is it in a wall or something?

No, it was running across the room. I'll buy another cable. I was wondering if I should just discard or keep it.

Throw it away.
Haha!
I have 5 meters of random wire. What do??
>throwing anything away when you could potentially use it in the future
Not very diy are you?

You could always reuse it for anything.
Bear in mind HDMI is a digital format, so the cable itself does not require any additional anti-EMI components like shielding.
For analog use it will be of poor quality.
