Hi /diy im a 22 year old college student who likes to do DIY in my spare time. I was thinking about putting pegboard on the wall right here in my apt to hang my tools on and have a small work area. Obviously the things on the desk will be moved. But how do i hang pegboard? and how much can it hold?

You're going to want to locate studs and mount a couple 1x2" s to them and then mount your ped board to the 1x2"s. There needs to be a gap behind the pegboard for the back side of the tool holders.

Something like this.
Alright! Shouldnt be too hard, i know there are studs beside the window frame, then if i just frame to the wall i should be good, and if im lucky there will be a stud between that in order to give frame support! Thanks!

Pretty sure you'll have a stud between the window and the corner. Use a stud finder or knock and use a finishing nail to find the centers.
Will do, i have a stud finder, but its a little cheap so it works right about 75% of the time. Ill just keep searching until im certian
