Looking for an air compressor and would like your advice /diy/, what do you use? Looking for variety of uses (painting, cleaning work space, cleaning dust from electronics, other air tools)

Don't like that one much. Got it for a Christmas present and it's good enough kinda but it's too small and runs all the time and literally tries to run away. It's too light, when the compressor runs it vibrates and spins and slides around.
Harbor Freight 21 Gallon Oiled 135psi.
There is literally no reason why a homeowner would want something bigger. Unless for some reason you do a lot of sandblasting at home.

I got a ~1 gal 100psi shitpressor from harbor freight on the cheap. Airs tires and blows dust which is all I need. Does those well enough.

its not about PSI, or the tanks size.
>PSI =/= CFM@PSI
>21 gal Tank capacity =/= sandblasting
what tools are you going to use with it? you need to know and choose a compressor with specs to match
eg, a 21 gal, 2hp single stage, 5 CFM, will take around 2+ hours to fill up and will barley power a impact. most impacts have ratings around 5CFM @ 90psi, sounds like it would work, but in reality that impact wont have enough overhead to actually break rusted bolts away from a frame.
