I made this
At least it works.
Actually fuck my last comment, is that clothes drier mounted upside down to the wall?
You made this?
>>976617
A method of storing bikes at an angle so as to not actually save any space?
>>976616
>has all these nice bikes
>can't even use a screwdriver
>holds it together with zip ties
>mounts dryer upside down
>uses shitty tires on decent rims
you should buy better tires anon.
>>976691
Give him a break.
He lives in Allahu land. You are lucky he didn't hit the detonator.
>>976617
what kind of a mad man buys two of the exact same bikes in different colors?
>>976616
You know, I usually differentiate a wood working project versus a carpentry project by the lack of metal fasteners like nails or screws. OP here is obviously on the Norm Abrams level of fine woodworking.
Strong work Achmed.
Pretty garbage. My 6 year old son has better wood working skills than you. You should feel bad.
Did you make a goat pin in your bedroom osama?
>>976817
Post pics or it didn't happen.
>>976696
>Allahu land
those are aussie power outlets anonfam. although i guess it's the same thing
>>976632
This
There are so many ways to make your own bike storage that save space, what you've done is make something (terribly I might add) that doesn't space space at all...
>>976912
Most of them are easy as shit too, all you need is a drill and some screws.
>>976616
Patent that shit ASAP
>>976627
european style is meant to wall mount and vents from the top... not too common on this side of the pond though...
>>976913
That's pretty neat.
Op here
I look like sand people but actually I'm mexican(ish)
I live in OZ
Those norco are different bikes(hardtail and double ....)
I did use screws, but i only had like 10
I don't need or want to save space, i just want a place to put the bikes, they were all over the garage
Thanks for all the comments
Cheers
>>977297
I still want to know what is going on with that fucking washing machine on the ceiling.
>>977319
Che told you
They're in oz

I would just like to point out that OP did not:
- ask us what he should do with 500 tangerines he just happened to have lying around
- ask us how to build this from start to finish
- mention arduinos, ISO containers, bunkers, or how to bury the bike rack underground so that he may live in it.
Compared to how /diy/ has been lately, I really like this thread
>>976691
>>holds it together with zip ties
holy shit i just noticed that
hey op couldnt you at least use some small nails for the vertical support piece? jebus christ mang...
I hope that thing collapsing is a learning experience... Buy screws before starting the job
Cliché for a reason measure twice, cut once
When it comes to it tho, you're creative enough to throw together a good enough to throw together a shelter and survive the first week of the mad max days
>>977365
Yes it's an interesting thread, unlike all the classic /diy/ memes, doesn't mean we can't insult OP for making something terrible. We should applaud him for his terrible craftsmanship just because it's different? That's dirty Tumblr talk.
>>977355
Ozstralia
>>977365
Yea nah nigga. He took a pallet, broke off some planks from it, ziptied it all together and created something that actually takes up more space than just having 2 bikes.
>>977464
I only came here to get some insults disguise as advice
So... mission accomplished
>>977497
It's 3 bikes
BTW new trek pic related
i thought it was a Power Armor station
>>976616
is that a pallet? neat
>>977545
>I only came here to get some insults disguise as advice
well, you gotta put some more stuff in your post rather than just a picture, otherwise people start making assumptions about your intentions.
>>976616

>>976616
its functional so its good but next time at least polish the wood man
>>976749
athletes. team bikes for example. you need a build that fits certain competitions and sometimes you dont have a day you can take off from training.
>>976843
oh shit. I am embaressed for my country. not as bad as that guy who built his fenceline in the shape of the ditch running along his house instead of just levelling the 10 inches of dirt it would have taken to make it neat.
>>976998
>yfw when u will never see 'hidden' Yurope..
'european style' - dude, wut?
>>977729
If it looks weird but works it's European style
>>977713
>not as bad as that guy who built his fenceline in the shape of the ditch running along his house instead of just levelling the 10 inches of dirt it would have taken to make it neat.
what's the story there?
>>976616
Why do you have a wrench out? I dont see any nuts or bolts.
>>976691
>mounts dryer upside down
hes in straya' m8!
>>977777
>what's the story there?
a guy built his fence line in the shape of a ditch running along his house instead of just levelling the 10 inches of dirt it would have taken to make it neat.
>>976616
why do so many people on /diy/ use shitty wood that looks like it was taken from pallets?
just go buy some pine for gods sake, its not pricey at all.
>>976616
Nicely done, OP. Keep it up
>>978307
Because it's literally a repurposed pallet?
>>976998
I think what fucks with people is that dryers are assumed to be heavy, like a washing machine. Turns out dryers, at least gas ones aren't(I never looked in an electric). I remember cracking open my old dryer and finding out it was weighted down with a brick. Pic similar to what was inside.
>>978331
but pallets are still useful. as pallets. all these pallet fuckers are doing is breaking something useful and turning it into something shit because they can take it with absolutely no repercussions.
>>978368
its because people are too retarded to put their own brick in their dryer. instead they'll try to return it because it rattles around too much. only to buy a more expensive one with a pre-fitted brick.
>>978371
you asuming (a) its not a disposable (and OPs looks def. purposefully repurposed disposable) (b) its stolen (c) its fucking in any way, shape or form further useful again anyway.
Pallets are used to enable easy delivery and transport of large/bulk items - minority are deposit/reusable, and most are one-use disposable, one-job and kill. Used to live near a flooring firm, they'd toss us a shitload over the fence and we'd do a mini burning Man inna garden once a month or so. They get rid of useless rest-pallet theyd fuck all use for, we'd get drunk, everybody perfectly happy.
Point being, not everyones a pallet fucker, as you put it - unless you resending shit in bulk, most have no further use for the fuckers anway.
Still bit dubious about bolting dryers halfway up a wall mind, regardless of hemisphere, but wtf, I can see that aint getting explained anytime ever here either.
>>978371
Chep makes the best damn pallets.
Op here
The pallets were free, no one can beat that price
love you guys, thanks for the comments
Cheers
>>979278
What about when it costs you from the damage it does when it collapses
>>979575
You think the frame or wheels will break falling from there?
:\
>>977777
Checked
There's a pic of it somewhere. It's embarrassing.
OP made something that might actually make sense when made from pallet wood, increible
>>976749
....none of those bikes are the same????
>>976616
Power armor station?
>>980813
Too bad he used cable ties to attach it all together.
>>977319
> mount dryer high on wall without flipping it upside down
> expect to be able to reach control panel that is now inches from the roof.
Americans are literally this stupid.
>>981996
>Americans are literally this stupid.
Well we're not stupid enough to mount dryers on the wall in the first place. Where's the washer? In the attic?
