Depends on the number of molly... I ended in buying one, cos it is a lot more efficient and easy ! So yes, it is worth.

If you're going to use one or two in a lifetime then no.

If they're something you might use here and there then yes. It's hard work doing it by hand and using a drill or impact driver makes it easy for the teeth on the fixing to chew up the plaster board.

I've never heard them called mollies before though.
