Does diy make their own mobile accessories?
Pic related is a micro USB charge only cable I made from a cheap $1 Chinese cable that died and 20awg wires from a dead power supply.
Also currently working on a fast charge adapter for the gf.
I know it looks like shit but it's going to be covered by a perspex box and painted black so you can't see inside it.

Im all for /diy/, but my 800$ phone is worth too much to me to do this.
I havent used ANY cable or charger except for the OEM ones.

And if the oem one dies?

Buy official

Is this just a capacitor and inductor? How will this help, if the power supply outputs 500mA you'll get 500mA, is this for output stabilization?

>output stabilization
Yes, in case she ends up plugging her phone into a shitty charger.
For fast charging you just short out the data pics in the usb port. I usually do this in the micro USB end of my cables but she'll be using her OEM cable so this will be just as good.

I should spell check before posting.
Also her phone has recently had issues where it gets warm when she charges it.
More so than usual. I've seen it go up to the low 80s/high 70s from her watching YouTube while it's charging. I'm hoping this might help.

Its not going to do anything

I don't care, I'm still going to try it.
If it doesn't help she can always use it as a fast charge adapter for charging her phone off a computer.
a proper cable will cost less than a new battery or a new device

That is true.
What's your point?
