MythBusters is having its series finale in about two hours, followed by a reunion special (?). All day on Discovery they've been doing a marathon of the show, and tomorrow they're doing this whole lineup but a little different on The Science Channel.
Anyone else watching? What do you think about the show ending?
I think it's going to be sad not seeing karis boobs all the time.
>>956999
previous season had more episodes, too bad about the short season.
>>957001
Maybe without a steady paycheck she'll do humiliation porn. That'd be nice.
>>956999
>What do you think about the show ending?
Dont give a shit.
Rarely watched it.
I like Adam Savages shit on youtube though, he seems like a bro and he has made it clear that he hates the fat guy he worked with on Mythbusters.
>>956999
I've been watching since the show started. I'm gonna watch it tomorrow, and I'm sure it will make me cry
>>957090
I watched the finale and the "reunion" show. was nothing to cry about... trust me
the finale.... they killed buster by rocketing him into a brick wall. they blew up another cement truck with 5000 pounds of explosives. they rammed a mile of props with a truck that had a plow attached to it.
sorry to spoil it for ya but it was major suckage for a finale
>>956999
it was probably a long time coming
>>957453
Those trips were a long time coming
>>957443
I hate how it turned from interesting stuff into "hey guys let's just blow shit up for the sake of blowing shit up".
That said it's one of the things that made me interested in welding so I'm pretty thankful.
>>957487
Started going to crap when the build team got their own sections of the show. Grant was the only tolerable one.
>>956999
Way overdue. When they started shifting to two teams doing separate myths the show became shit. They ran out of good myths to do a long time ago.
I also hope this >>957026 happens.
i don't see how they could feel they did a proper duct tape episode without pic related
>>957026
she's an art dealer. before mythbusters her job was to get paid by rich people to travel europe finding genuine historical pottery for them to bid on.
>>958079
Truth/10, and I'm not even Canadian.
+1 internets to you, anon.
>>958079
they had a really short clip in one of the specials, the first one I think
but yeah, Red Green did as much as anyone else (at least) to create the myth of the all-powerful duct tape
>>957489
>The fucking autistic screaming and howling they always got into. A firecracker is lit and thrown - WOOOOOOOHOOO AHHAHAAA
>The corny puns and jokes
>Doing a chorus countdown for turning on a fucking light.
>Adam sperging for 30 minutes about some inane "I'm a cool and nerdy kid xDDD" bullshit instead of what would be a 3 minute test.
Good riddance, rest in shit Mythbusters.
>>958176
>stop having fun
>they should all be stoic like Jamie
they got paid to blow shit up and do weird things on camera, and some of them (maybe everyone but Jamie) clearly had the mindset of an entertainer
>>958164
sure they may have had clips, but how can you have an episode without THE expert?
>>958191
You can justify the show being dumbed down all you want, doesnt change the fact that it vastly changed and turned to shit.
>>958294
I didn't say anything about it being dumbed down, and neither did you if you're who I was replying to, you just picked at the presentation.
>>958290
They can't let canadians upstage them. They already took a big hit when that tattooed girl left and they had no choice but to get a korean.
