What would be the best way to build Power Ranger Armour?
Im thinking more riot gear then bullet proof.

obviously I dont believe radiation has beneficial qualities like in the comics.Whats her name was a real radioactive pioneer, ended up killing herself with radiation.

I guess if OP stated he wanted to make some body armor for the express purpose of bludgeoning someone with his chest carapace, then maybe.

sounds like a good start, but I imagine the thin plastic ones may break under force
maybe also look into chain armor, tire armor, and samurai armor for pattern inspiration
all of that would be moot if your attacker uses an ice pick, though

I would say having the mentality that my armour isnt going to be bullet proof is a lot more realistic then thinking im going to be some iron clad juggernaut

I think what ive doodled up would prevent being hit in the head or upper torso with a fallig mass like an icepick or hammer.
Abdomen protected from shanks.
and legs probably over armoured then could ever be useful in a modern situation

If OP wants riot gear he'd need hard plastic plating like ABS, Rhino Liner...something that will catch a blade and dissipate a baseball bat. Mil-spec fiberglass helmet for shrapnel.
Why, OP? "Fighting crime" is extremely dangerous. You're going after criminals. CRIMINALS. Meaning they do not abide by the law. If you have gun laws, they will disregard them. You're going to get hurt if you don't know what you're doing.
