Can i fill a bowl with isopropyl alcohol and put it in there? I mean, will it work?

The rice thing is a myth. The only thing to do is to dry it out, which is best done by opening it up so air can get inside. Depending on the device, you can then clean any corroded pathways with electronics cleaner.
I'm not sure if this would work for phones in general, they may be too delicate for post-water-damage cleaning to work, but it certainly won't work if you can't disassemble it.

you deserve to have your phone fucked up.
The back will come off (SOny glue the backplate on so a spudger, heat, and persuasion are required), you can then disconnect the battery plug (usually it's a flex ribbon to a socket from the battery and very accessable once you get the backplate off). Then leave it sitting in a tub of silica pellets or something, on or near a gentle heat source for a week.
Rice is not the worst, it really needs a proper dehumidifying agent though. Most supermarkets now sell the car dehumidifying boxes (pic related) for virtually buttons (£1 in the UK), or Amazon etc.
Isopropyl is amazing shit, but there are things it will cheerfully dissolve like glue, heatsink compound, and certain other things you find in critical places in small quantities inside phones. I have no idea for example, what it might do to the layers in an LCD screen. It's best used on bare circuit boards rather than dunking the whole device in there.

Going forward, keep pure isopropyl alcohol on hand. Fuck trying to dry out via desiccants. That can still leave deposits which can short stuff out.
Water kills electronics in generally one of three ways (there's more like diluting electrolytes in some components, but we won't really worry about that here)

Dunk that shit in whatever high 90% isopropyl you can find (75% will work too, but the high 90 stuff is better). This will get water out of the system.
