Hey /diy/ I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience making plushies.

I'm making one for my friends birthday and it's of her favorite character. I'm using this other plushie as a reference and I want to make this "chibi" plush with similar sizes and what not. I have all the measurements and have been reading some things on plushie making but I also wanted to see if anyone here may have advice on making patterns or may even have a pattern that is similar to this.
