Real desks have curves. Here's my sit/stand battle station that I'm currently building. It's missing a keyboard tray, CPU holder, and 3rd monitor.

I don't think that a word exists for how uncomfortable that looks

Yep! Powered by linear actuators.

It's surprisingly comfortable on the shoulders, since the table top is adjustable in height I can rest my elbows in any position.

A normal person might have opted for a set desk height and an adjustable chair...

disgusting

While I agree, I too would prefer much more room to maneuver than that, I have to say of itself this looks like a pretty clean build. Need more pics of legs and mechanisms OP.

>not enough headroom for Monica/10

..anyone 'ever' seen a picture of the other side of that thing? Shelves for a teleprompter, bottle of whisky and a dwarve indian speechwriter, be my bet.

Is that a desk or the house of parliament?
>>

I have a standing desk. I love it. The wrap around concept is good. I would suggest putting your cpu tower on the ground. That will give you more room. Also, get a foot rest. Most bars that patrons stand at will have one to rest your foot on. Change of position will allow you to stand longer.

Yeah the goal is to get the CPU mounted under the left stem of the arch and have a 3rd monitor go where the CPU is currently. Having it on the ground runs the risk of tugging on the cables when extended.
>>
It rises up and down on motors? That's fucking awesome! I can't relate to anyone who would criticize that. Way to go OP.

specs on the actuators? I cant find any that have such a long stroke that aren't hundreds of dollars.

They're the flt-07 legs from progressive automation. These were pretty pricey though but that is with the housing, you might be able to go cheaper if you just get the actuator.
