What have you bought as a gift?

/diy/ made gifts are welcome too.

>What is on your Christmas wishlist?
Small TIG/stick welder for practicing (I have a pretty big family plus my birthday is 10 days before christmas so I might get it as a "combined" gift, but I don't really expect to get it).

Some gift certificates for a working clothes store would be neat too, I'm gonna need quite a bit more when I'm out of trade school.

>What have you bought as a gift?
Nothing /diy/-related, more /ck/ stuff.

>Dragon dildo or a finger box.

I just want to be fucking "normal" healthy. stop with this chronic life ruining shit I go through on a daily basis. And maybe a doctor that actually gives a flying fuck an isn't there for a god damn paycheck. to put it in perspective, most doctors I see are like going to the dealer ship for a tire rotation. them telling you, NEED new tires, then telling you your radiator broke while changing the tires. while trying to sell you an oil change with premium marked up oil.

>>
>>911621
the kind that is chisel shaped?

save like idk. 500 bucks.

go to estate sales. surely you will find a set somewhere? or rummage sales [churches] I say 500 cause it gives you wiggle room to buy other cool shit. like plains.

I know exactly how you feel bro...

I have a few chronic health issue that just put a stop to a normal life when things flare. Im in general not that healthy of a person, stemming from a congenital issue.
You get a general practitioners who first off dont respect you, they dont respect what you have to say and think they know everything.

They love to play off certain things and tell you to just get the fuck out of the office without solving anything, or to just throw random pills at you.

All I can say is just keep looking for a new doctor, eventually youll find a decent one. You cant get down to business until you find the right guy. Ive jumped around from doc to doc with different specialists all my life, only recently have I found someone worthwhile.

Life is tough man, but hopefully things will work out. Until then, on the days I can actually get up and out of bed ill keep on keeping on hopefully doing something /diy/

The chisel depends on what kind of woodworking you are going to be doing
Even cheap chisels will work, just will get dull pretty fast.

I bought a £50 quid set and got them all 'flat' on the back and honed and they've been pretty decent. If I were to spend any more I think a set of Irwin Marples would be fine. There are more expensive sets and brands but I haven't warranted them.

Also I bought myself an early Christmas present a week or so ago - 10X6 thickness planer.

Might treat myself to a festool domino and a new makita TCT metal cut off saw for work. Woodworking is just a hobby.

As for gifts?
I bought my brother a pair of Vampliers. Specialized stripped screw remover pliers.

He is a mechanic and has a lot of tools, so hopefully he has never heard of them.
Its gimmicky, but not as seen on TV level gimmicky. Im curious as to how well they work
