Change the wiring. Make sure its rated for the amount of amps you are going to put through it to power the horn its going to of you will melt it or the wires going to it and possible start a fire.

It doesn't have wire leads it's made to fit a plug from the wire harness I want to wire it as its own separate thing separate from the wire harness
you can either get a soldering iron and solder, or some female spade terminals of the correct size.

Just popping in to let you know most places this is illegal. To no one's surprise horns are regulated as much as the other parts of your car. I'm not sure about it being auxiliary, but I would look it up in your area before wasting any time.

Vehicle regs state what you must have, not what you can't have.
You could probably *use* a horn to break a law, but simply having one is happy-clappy. If adding stuff to your vehicle's electrics were illegal, satnavs and radios would be illegal. If having a train horn were illegal, trains would be illegal.

When I put a badass horn in my truck, I bought one of those nondescript silver toggle switches from the hardware store and drilled some holes in one of those round containers electrical tape comes in to screw it into. The whole works was then wired up and wedged into the dash. I don't think this helps OP, but I thought it was pretty cool.
