Hey there /DIY/. I'm trying to add an aux video cable to my 09 acura TSX, although I don't think the details are too important in this case. The display is obviously component or composite, you can tell just by looking at it. I want to go in there and add an aux video cable connector, but I'm not quite sure if it's the best idea- I've found some very dated pinouts for older years, but I'm not sure if they're current. Does the display likely use some sort of proprietary signal, or would it use something standard like component or composite? Does anyone know of anywhere to find the modern current pinouts, or how to check if the signal is/isn't standard?
Also, does anybody know of any resources for complete trim removal? I've removed the entirety of the controls on the center console (Radio, air, etc) but I can't seem to progress it up to the screen, which is recessed and covered with a shield.
