i think any LEd would do OP, just use an LED dimmer. also have you tried googling dimmable LED spotlight ?
>>
>>1018652
IKEA has this shit. Or the lamp shop on the main street of your city!

To all others. What OP wants is a LED spot, but not a Halogen or CLF spot.
- He is just to retarded to know the difference!

Greenlight makes dimmable ones and so does feit.

You are welcome..

The majority of led products for 230/110V are not dimmable.
If they are, they will clearly state it, as you pay extra for that feature.

thank you very much anon, I did not know the difficulties on maked dimmable leds... I see now that is not common...

Do you want it to be driven from 230/110VAC directly?
If no, just buy a star-shaped PCB, solder a power LED, attach a spotlight lens and buy (or DIY) a regulated (usually PWM) current source.

>>1019579
LEDs need constant-current supplies, which usually have a noticeable startup time. Also, designers thrive to achieve stable operation (reducing fluctuations in output power), and good power efficiency (reducing losses), both of which are tuned to neat, stable 50-60Hz VAC input. All this is in conflict with supporting dimmers, which essentially work by frequently switching on and off, cutting away parts of the input sinusoid. That's why such bulbs are rare.

>>1019579
OP just wants a spotlight that is both LED and dimmable.

>both of which are tuned to neat, stable 50-60Hz VAC input. All this is in conflict with supporting dimmers,
It's simpler than that.

Switchmode LED driver provides a regulated output by chopping up the input and letting some (but not all) of it through.

If you cut the duty cycle of the input, the regulator is still a regulator, and it just uses more of what it can get to provide the same output.

So when you dim the bulb it doesn't dim. It just keeps working fine until there's not enough power left, then it stops working completely.

Dimmable LED bulbs need to work out what the dimmer is trying to do, and recreate that. That's extra complexity that people without a dimmer will never even use. Which is why dimmables are more expensive.
