I was asked if I could find a rechargeable 12v battery that supplies power to a breathing aid.
Can't find any to buy so I figured I could put together some nimh batteries?
I don't have too much knowledge about this shit so it's why I came here.

Did you even look?
literally any scooter/motorcycle/car battery?
Is someone going to be living or dying based on this? If that's the case, seriously, just buy whatever is needed.
If you're just fucking around, the 12V battery you posted is a sealed lead-acid battery, commonly referred to as an AGM. They are heavy but reliable and hold a good amount of power for their volume. If you know the ampere-hour requirements, you can pretty easily match up a 12V AGM battery. They make them in all sorts of sizes/capicities.
NiMH would not be that great, they are actually a pretty crappy battery. Low charge holding and they deplete when not in use.
nimh is 1.2V per cell, so 10 in series is 12V. easy peasy. however, if you need reliability, an easier way to go about it is to get a 12V drill battery, or two if you need backup. should be easy to find in nimh or lipo chemistries.

So a CPAP/VPAP machine then.
If it is to run a humidifier as well, you will want a deep cycle 12v battery with at least 100Ah.
